+our room was quite small. the sink was about 15" and the counter that it was on was 18". the shower was small and in poor condition. the room was created by remodeling a larger apartment and they created too many apartments that were too small, at least ours. there was virtually no furniture aside from a decent bed, a small table and one stand to put a suitcase on. the room was on the second floor with no elevator and steep steps and you had to pass through a door way that was about 5.5 feet tall. surely not a studio.

+Would not recommend this stay, at least in room 8. Good location but the price was way too high for the quality of the accommodation. Some of the other units looked nicer. Fine for a solo traveler for a night or two in the city, but not very comfortable. Apartment: D-. The room itself was dark and had a very strong mildew smell. The room had A/C but we could not get it to work well until day 3. Size of the room wasn’t bad but there is very little natural light. Windows overlook an alley. Bath tub does not have a fixed shower head. Location: B+. Good location but on a somewhat dirty street. Walking distance to many bars, restaurants, and attractions. We didn’t find the hills to be a problem at all as Baixa is a relatively flat part of the city. Check In: C. Directions were clear and it was an easy self check in. The entry way is very dark, smelly, and not welcoming. We didn’t see a reception desk but was told there was one. Host is responsive via WhatsApp.
