“Enjoyable short break”
+Beautiful location (mile and a half from Bowness) so quieter. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed and good shower. Lovely staff
−We were in room 121 which overlooked car park would have been nice to overlook garden.

“A lovely oasis-like property on the outskirts of Bowness-On-Windermere”
+Lindeth Howe is a beautiful property with lovely gardens. It was great how close it was to Bowness-on-Windermere and central to the Lakes while being a secluded oasis away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were all warm, helpful, and accommodating. The bed was comfortable and it was a very nice room in general.
−Although the breakfast was yummy, the scrambled eggs were crumbly. They didn’t stay on the toast (which was in varying states of under- and over-toasted) and needed a spoon to eat. I should have asked for something else at the time, which I’m sure the staff would have provided gladly, but I didn’t and that’s my own fault. Everything else was very tasty so it’s not a huge deal and I wasn’t sure if I should bring it up or not since it’s all about personal taste.

“This was our fourth stay at the hotel and we had a very enjoyable holiday as we always do.”
+We like the fact that there are ground floor rooms and the parking is very close to the property for disabled guests. The staff are very nice and always willing to help when this is required. There is a large well kept garden which is lovely to sit and relax in. The property is also close to local tourist attractions and shops.

“A lovely relaxing stay in great surroundings with excellent food.”
+The staff were friendly and helpful. Special mention to Jodie and the new man on Reception that had only been there two weeks. The food was excellent. The Sunday morning falconry was great too.
−Our bed was way too soft and uncomfortable.

“Will definitely be back!”
+We stayed for my husband's birthday and couldn't have asked for a nicer stay, the hotel was immaculate, the staff were friendly and tended to any need we had and we truly had the best sleep we've had in the most comfortable bed ever! From now on any stay in Bowness will be at this beautiful hotel. Thank you for making our stay perfect!

“An excellent venue for a small relaxed informal wedding. Loved it!”
+Design and decoration of the rooms were delightful. The folding book art was inspiring. Staff were welcoming and attentive. I attended a wedding which was excellently catered for
−I was allocated a room with an accessible bathroom. The toilet was to low, the cambre of the floor was inadequate, the water flowed across the whole of the floor. The tiles were very slippy when wet. I stayed 2 nights and would not have felt safe for a longer stay that would require more frequent use of the shower
