“Wonderful beach resort, has a real feel-good vibe around the place.”
+Great Ghana-owned beach resort. The highlight for me was the friendly and helpful staff, really service minded and solution oriented! What was really good is that they had so much information about stuff to do, and they were helpful in arranging for a driver. We did a boat tour in Elmina which was fantastic, we did Kakum National Forest and Cape Coast Castle in one day. There is also a nice batik dyeing workshop walking distance from the hotel. It was a really good hub to explore the area and then to be able to chill and relax in afterwards.
−At times the service for the food was a bit slow. One night when there was another large company present we had to wait an hour for the food. We could have been informed it would take that long and adjusted our plans accordingly.

+A truly brilliant hotel that we can wholeheartedly recommend. Very lovely rooms, right on the beach, absolutely delicious food and, above all, we felt really well looked after. My travelling companion was ill. They offered us every possible help, allowed us to check in later, and we even received a free upgrade. Everyone went out of their way to look after us, which made us feel very much at home. Thank you very much! 🍋♥️

+We had an overall enjoyable stay at Lemon Beach Resort. The property is absolutely beautiful and aesthetically well maintained, and its location is perfect if you’re looking to explore Cape Coast and Elmina. The food was definitely a highlight,delicious, with a great variety of options on the menu.
−There are, however, a few areas that could elevate the experience. Service was quite slow at times, and we would have appreciated a greater sense of urgency and warmth when responding to guests’ needs. We also experienced some maintenance issues with water leaking from our bathroom, the pool could have been cleaner, and some of the advertised activities were not consistently available. That said, we enjoyed our time there and were well catered to overall. With a little more attention to service, maintenance, and consistency, Lemon Beach has the potential to offer an even better guest experience.

+The staff was exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. The staff was prompt before my arrival. When I encountered issues getting to the hotel because of road blocks Albert was very sweet and reassuring. When I arrived, George ensured I was immediately set up to experience the last day of the Baktude festival by arranging a trusted driver. My driver, Mouro ensured I had a great view of the festival and ended up arranging my slave dungeon and Kakum Park tour with him for the next day. It was my birthday weekend, so the staff surprised me with a bday treat at dinner with a lovely dance by Sidy, I felt so special. Thank you to the staff at Lemon Beach Resort. My first trip to Ghana was amazing because of them.
−Because of the festival, I would just forewarn the guest about traveling to the hotel. Provide them with tips on roads to avoid or best time to arrive to hotel.

+Very comfortable rooms, excellent customer service from the receptionists to the waiters, and delicious food, both local and continental . We opted for the 5-course fine dining experience, and it was simply amazing. The beach setup is beautiful, especially in the evening, with beach access just 150 meters along the shore. There are plenty of activities available both on-site and in town, which ultimately convinced us to extend our stay by an extra night at Lemon. We also booked a day trip to Cape Coast and Kakum National Park, and finished the day at Lemon Restaurant in Cape Coast. We will definitely be back! Headline for review: *Best place to stay in Elmina*
