1.0“It was very disappointing and came well short of our expectations for what we paid.”
−There were several issues: 1. Misleading Check-In Expectations: When I booked the room online, I was informed that we could check in between 10:00 and 11:00 AM. However, when we arrived, our room was not ready until approximately 1:00 PM. This was frustrating and disrupted the plans we had made for the day. 2. Uncomfortable Room Temperature: Our room was extremely warm throughout our time there. Despite attempting to lower the thermostat to 67 degrees, we could not get the temperature below 71 degrees. The room had reached 74 degrees and we had trouble getting it down. The temperature made the room incredibly uncomfortable. 3. Excessive Noise and Complete Lack of Privacy: We were assigned Room 110, which is located directly alongside an outdoor patio. Throughout the evening, people were standing immediately outside our window, talking and socializing. There was virtually no privacy, and the proximity of the patio to our room created a lot of noise. 4. Room Quality Far Below Expectations: For a room costing over $500 per night, we expected a much higher standard of accommodations. Instead, the room was extremely small, dark, and had an overall appearance and feel that made it seem u

10.0“All in all the stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. Looking forward to coming back.”
+We liked traveling to the different sister properties. The breakfast at Settler's Inn was very good. We enjoyed dinner and the spectacular views at Ledges. So serene and peaceful there. The afternoon spent at the pool/bar at Silver Birches was very relaxing. It was a great getaway weekend!
−I would like to see the shuttle run earlier in the afternoon. Great service though.

4.0“Bad Food”
+This is a restaurant review. Did not stay at the hotel. The food was simply bad. I ordered the lemon chicken with artichoke and white wine-shocked to see what it looked liked when it was served-all cut up, dry and it really looked like it had already been cooked hours before and they dropped it into a very mediocre sauce before serving. The appetizers were ok, nothing special and the gnocchi was marginally better than the chicken. The wine list was bad-I think they think their target audience are a bunch of yahoos with no discernible taste in food or wine. Too bad because as a local I thought the experience would have been much better.

10.0“Waterfalls and serenity”
+The ledges is such a beautiful property!! Barb and everyone at the front were extremely friendly and made sure our stay was perfect!! Our one bedroom suite was the perfect room with a view of the waterfall. Glass had yummy food and cocktails. Cheyenne and her team provided the best dining experience. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a serene getaway. We will be back .

7.0“Great view, over priced”
+We loved the view of the waterfall. We also loved the shuttle driver Michelle. She made our trip.
−We did not like the room size for the cost, and the restaurant service was horrible

10.0“Beautiful spot! Gorgeous waterfalls! Relaxing!”
+The waterfall was beautiful. And everything was updated for an 1800s building. I love the different level levels of leisure to take in the peacefulness of the waterfall. The hotel was tucked away/a bit hidden. They offered us a free cocktail and a credit towards breakfast.
−I wouldn’t necessarily say a dislike. The room was very small, but the building was very old so that’s understandable. The driveway was a bit harrowing for a person who’s used to flatland 😁

8.0“Unique stay on the edge of a waterfall”
+So much to like about Ledges! A hotel in a repurposed factory, perched in the edge of a waterfall. A variety of outdoor sitting spaces to enjoy the view and sound of the falls. In spring/ early summer the falls was lovely, but I am thinking the falls maybe minimal in later summer and fall. The staff I encountered were helpful and kind. If you get their waterfall package, make sure to clarify the food credits you get with it. I was left so confused about what came with the room and what was included with the waterfall package. The fireplace and comfortable seating in the lobby is inviting. The downside of my room: no mini fridge, the window did not open so I could hear the sound of the falls at night or from my room. I like fresh air at night! Also, platform beds are not my favorite; mattress ok, but the lower bed height can be challenging for older knees. Also not a fan of rainshower shower heads, especially when the water falls straight down from the ceiling and the faucet control is not accessible without standing under the shower head, brrr until the water warms up.

10.0“We enjoyed the beautiful property”
+The property was in a beautiful location our room was right next to the waterfall unfortunately there was a table next to our window where guest could set , so it wasn’t really private and we could not keep our curtains open to enjoy the view until the restaurant closed.
−As previously mentioned the place was beautiful but our room was located next to a public seating area
