“Perfect airport stopover, and a bonus walk into old Carini”
+We stayed at Le Métro because we had an early flight from Palermo and needed to return our rental car the evening before. Carini is the third train stop from the airport, about 10 minutes away, and Le Métro is right opposite the station exit. You can’t get closer. The host sent us the access codes and was very responsive and helpful. The room was modern, comfortable and spotless. Guests can use the kitchen and fridge, so you can make your own breakfast. Like many coastal towns, Carini’s station sits at the foot of the hill, about 2.4 km below the old town. We walked up for dinner, and it was well worth it. At 6:30 pm the walk to the centro storico was vibrant, alive and at times hectic. Note that many places are closed on Monday nights. There are three or so good bakeries on the first 1km of the way up, as well as a Conad City supermarket to pick up groceries or a bottle of wine if you like. If you’re able, walk up!

+Great communication with the host. Nicely furnished and new. Train station is just across the street, so you're basically instantly there. Ticket machine on the train station entrance. Great for the last night of Sicily retreat before heading to the aeroport.

−The wash basin was clogged, the rooms were somewhat small. The balcony is very small.

+Bardzo fajne miejsce, cały obiekt wydaje się bardzo nowy i czysty, przestrzeń wspólna czyli kuchnia całkiem nieźle wyposażona, dostępna lodówka i dużo miejsca, podstawowe przybory kuchenne też są. Pokój bardzo czysty i wygodny, łatwo się zameldować i znaleźć miejsce. Mieliśmy ładny widok z pokoju na góry i miasteczko nocą. Największym plusem jednak jest lokalizacja - bardzo blisko dworca kolejowego, z którego łatwo dojechać na lotnisko. W okolicy są sklepy, jakieś knajpki. Łatwo też zaparkować samochodem przed hotelem, za darmo.
−W przestrzeni wspólnej - kuchni, przydałoby się dołożyć kilka przyborów kuchennych - jakiś większy nóż, deska kuchenna do krojenia, aby łatwiej można było przygotować jakiś prosty posiłek jak kanapki.

“Muy bien”
+Es un alojamiento que es muy recomendable porque esta pegado a la parada de tren. Cuando no hay trenes, el asunto cambia. El taxi un trayecto desde el aeropuerto de Palermo son 50 eur. Lo encontré caro por el trayecto que es. Otra opción, tener algo de paciencia y pedir un Uber. Lo demás encontramos todo bien. Sobre todo la atención de Rosalia. Ha estado muy atenta y pendiente. A distancia todo, pero contestaba muy rápido.
−Quizá en nuestro caso con lo que no contábamos es que no teniamos la opción de alargar ni que fuera 1 o 2 horas la estancia. Late Check-out. Sufrimos el "clásico" vuelo demorado, que al final resultaron ser horas infinitas. Y en vez de alcanzar el hotel a las. 1:30 de la madrugada, finalmente pasamos casi toda la noche en el aeropuerto de origen y llegamos a Palermo pasadas las 05:00. Entre que llegamos al hotel, y nos preparamos para dormir ya eran las 06:30. Hemos estado 24h sin dormir. Así que finalmente sin la opción de late out, no llegamos a dormir ni 3 horas seguidas, porque el servicio de limpieza empieza a las 9 y la chica ya tenía el aspirador en marcha y nos despertamos con el ruido. Dia síguete alquilamos el coche y era un día digamos algo complicada porque dormir 2h y media y poner a hacerse kilómetros cuesta un poco. Pero entiendo que cada negocio tiene sus normas y hay que cumplirlas. Lo demás bien, Hemos estado muy muy pocas horas ahí.
