“Beautiful place and location with the most incredible host and start”
+This place is very beautiful. The views are amazing. But the owner and the people working here make this place very special. I highly recommend coming here. We also enjoyed our dinners very much.

“Awesome place to relax with Moroccan hospitality.”
+An exceptional site for an "eco-lodge" with a wonderful view of the valley and Marrakesh in the distance. An easy hike into town, if you care to visit. Wi-fi is available in the commons area, otherwise one is "off the grid". This is a place to escape the city hustle, email, messages, etc and relax. Enjoy the breakfast, and unless you have vehicle to drive into the village for meals, purchase their meals. All the food served was fresh and genuine; tasty and well-prepared. We would return.
−The weather did not cooperate so we could have used the well-maintained pool.

“Fantastic, peaceful retreat with excellent food!”
+The view was spectacular The pool was great on a sunny day The staff were very welcoming and attentive, they even baked me a cake on my birthday. Fantastic food, different dinner each day, all was delicious. The surroundings were very peaceful and quiet.
−The room was a little chilly to just relax in (the temp did drop whilst we were there) although this was fine at night when using all the extra blankets provided. Our hosts also did check that we were ok and not too cold.

“Amazing”
+We had a wonderful stay at Le Douar Berbere. Our hosts Mostafa and Noel were exceptional and took great care of us. The view from the hotel is amazing. Definitely recommend having dinner here as it was one of the best meals we had on our trip.

“A little piece of heaven.”
+The setting is absolutely stunning, especially with all of the wildflowers in bloom and snow on the mountain tops. Mustafa and Noelle were wonderful hosts - such a banquet for dinner! A huge thank you to Mustafa for helping us to retrieve our lost purse too - so kind and helpful. A perfect stay.
−Fluctuating temperature whilst in the shower!!

“If you want to experience an authentic Moroccan stay, in a beautiful location, you must stay here!”
+Our stay here was an unforgettable experience. Mustafa and Nawel are extremely kind and attentive hosts and we were made to feel very welcome. The location is beautiful, with incredible views across the valley and toward the mountains. It is a quiet and peaceful place, very relaxing and calm. Our room was beautiful with a large bedroom, sitting room, bathroom and private terrace. We enjoyed the food, Nawel is a brilliant cook and our breakfast and dinners were wonderful. Dinner each night included four courses, the chicken tagine was the best meal of our entire holiday. Mostafa kindly shared sightseeing tips and driving routes (he made an excellent map for us) and is a very thoughtful host. We enjoyed our time with him very much.

“Magical place with good people”
+Mostafa, our host was incredibly friendly and helpful. The food is made out of local ingredients and is amazing (dont miss out on the dinner). The garden and panorama are out of this world. The rooms are spacious and gorgeous. The whole place has amazingly positive energy. Thanks Mostafa for letting us experience and enjoy your magical place!
