+I had a great stay. The hotel staff went out of their way to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The view is amazing. The breakfast was very very delicious, and they packed up the leftovers for me to take with me so I could eat them whilst out on my hikes. I can highly recommend to stay here.

“A gem with incredible views and great hospitality”
+What a gem! Nestled in the mountains, Shan has created a beautiful experience with gorgeous views, and a very comfortable and spacious room with all the amenities. The breakfast every morning was delicious and showcased Sri Lankan favourites. Lavendra Paradise is only a 10 minute walk into the centre of Ella (or a short tuk tuk ride). We loved it!

+This place was perfect for us. The mountain views were amazing and the staff were more than helpful, organising transport for us to the adventure park and the train station. I'd definitely recommend getting the breakfast as well, the food was unbelievable for the price. If you want to head into town it's only a short 5-10 minute walk up the hill.
−There were no downsides for us staying 2 nights here.

+The mountain view from our terrace was stunning. The staff were welcoming and the service excellent. The location was great! Just a 10 minute walk into the town. The breakfast was really excellent! An amazing variety of dishes, a fresh fruit drink and lovely selection of fruit. The hotel was in a quiet location, the room was clean with all facilities as expected. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.
