“A perfect base to explore Arundel and getaway from the business of life.”
+The lodge itself and the location are both beautiful. The lodge is the most well- equipped of any property we have stayed in, the bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was perfect for making breakfast before a day out. Thank you to our hosts, we would love to return, on a less stormy weekend next time!

+Really lovely little lodge, very clean and well-equipped. Lovely touches, such as the breakfast items provided in the fridge. The hosts were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

“So brilliant I seriously considered not recommending so I'd have no problems booking again!”
+It was perfect. I mean it. I have never felt so 'at home' away from home in many years of doing such things. The owners were so friendly and fantastically pleasant to talk to. The provision of 'essential' extras, like a practically full fridge, was beyond anything I have experienced in decades of English holiday cottages. Wondrous, I'm hoping to stay there many times in the future for my regular South Coast Adventures! All the best to Glen and his wife, hopefully see you next year!

“Luxurious Lodge.”
+Everything you could possibly need, including generous breakfast hamper, fruit bowl and refreshments. Fabulous location away from the busy centre. Idylic. Glen and Sandra were very welcoming and friendly hosts.

“Great Apartment”
+Fantastic apartment, well equipped and comfortable. Air Con was especially good in the heart wave!! Fabulous provision of food in the kitchen was really helpful and lovely. The terrace looked great, but it was too hot for us to use it!! Pub was a very short walk away.

“A rare and wonderful find”
+It’s tricky to find superlatives that will adequately describe our experience of Lavender Lodge. The hosts were excellent from start (providing detailed directions) to finish (and it was such an enjoyable experience we didn’t want to finish). The lodge is excellently located for the Arun Valley. The lodge itself is … the term “well-catered” doesn’t do it justice. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and the generosity of the hosts left us speechless. The garden area is charming and relaxing, offering lovely views towards Burpham. Can’t remember being so relaxed and welcomed in a holiday accommodation. Just gutted we didn’t book an extra night.
