10.0“Expect a cozy 1847 pioneer house full of character with clean sheets, hot showers, and a wonderfully generous host who m”
+We stayed in a house that was originally built by pioneers in 1847, with extensions added later. Do not expect the usual amenities you would find in more expensive places, but the sheets are clean and the water is strong and hot. The host, Kevin, cooks breakfast for guests every morning and makes sure there are different snacks available all throughout the house, because as he says, there is just nothing close by to get food from. He is a very generous and kind person, a fine example of what a human being should be. So if you are reading reviews to get a feel for the place, know that you will not get the Hilton, or even a Sleep Inn. You will find a house full of character with a steep staircase to the bedrooms, a cozy house that can be musty at times but filled with old country charm, old books and your grandma's knick knacks all over the shelves, a garden with fruits and vegetables, a swing, and a host who is a Mensa genius and published writer who will make sure you are okay. We loved it.

10.0“The Labyrinthia was a fun, comfortable, and pleasant guest house.”
+Every morning, breakfast was fun. Kevin cooks mostly with vegetables from his garden, and each breakfast was a delicious surprise. There are plenty of snack items in two of the downstairs rooms to enjoy, along with a wide selection of teas. With Kevin's selection of tea cups and mugs, one can find an appropriate one for every mood or time of day. One of the enjoyments of the Labyrinthia is its decor - books everywhere and an eclectic display of all sorts of things. One of the enjoyments is also the grounds: the labyrinth itself, the gardens, and the view.
−We enjoyed our visit - no complaints.

10.0+Kevin is very friendly and accommodating. He loves to chat with his guests and has amazing stories to tell. He grows most of his ingredients in his garden and his breakfasts are some of the tastiest I have had ever. 10/10 would recommend the guest house!

8.0“Unique place.”
+Breakfast was delicious. It was pleasant to have Kevin make breakfast and then eat with us as we visited. He is a very interesting and intelligent gentleman.
−The double mattress was uncomfortable. My husband and I were sinking in the middle of the bed.
