+Great hotel!!
+très bel hôtel dans le centre historique de Uzès, on ne peut pas pénétrer dans les rues piétonnes avec une voiture, il y a un parking public à cinq minutes où j'ai payé 12 € pour la nuit.
+Small rooms, no elevator, limited amenities (no outdoor space, no pool - told it’s now being built). Staff was very friendly but not well trained. They failed to make car rental reservation after sending me a confirmation that all was arranged. Housekeeping just okay. Really more a 4 star experience for me on these dates.
+Seulement un week-end, mais deux jours au calme dans une chambre d’un très grand niveau et une équipe omniprésente pour notre confort
+Great
“Great!”
+Very comfortable, particularly considering the cold weather and rain. Warm and cosy room.
“Incredible surprise of a magical glorious hotel”
+Incredibly beautiful place in an unexpected discovery that we were staying in an ancient fortress of an ancient city. Could not ask for more in such conditions, where everything was ancient in the city but everything in the hotel was modern. Small room, but incredibly quaint, and the bathroom was glorious, shower was incredible, water pressure and temperature perfect. Only said to discover I couldn't stay more days as they close mid week in the winter. That was a first ever surprise. In any event, this place is magical. Book the spa in advance as it is booked solid and Tier 1 Clarins spa. Incredible experience and I'll be back! :)

“Skip this hotel”
+I don’t know why this place is so highly rated. It is completely rundown and the photographs are nothing like reality. Breakfast is poor and the staff are bored and not really engaging in anyway. There are better hotels in the area. Look elsewhere

“Disappointing”
+We recently stayed at this hotel, booking two rooms, one for us and one for our daughter. We were upgraded to a larger room but it lacked a shower, which was inconvenient and not disclosed at booking. Our daughter’s basic room was extremely small, barely suitable for one person. Cleanliness was a major issue. The smaller room had ants along the walls and floor, and both rooms' floors were poorly swept. My daughter’s room had stained furniture, which was off-putting. When she inquired about changing rooms due to cleanliness, it was implied we’d have to pay for the upgrade, even though a larger room was available during our entire stay. There was no clear manager to address our complaints. Breakfast was equally disappointing. We arrived at 9:30am, an hour before it ended, to find no food left. After raising concerns, staff said they had reheated croissants for us,reheated croissants are unacceptable at a five-star hotel. Overall, our stay was far below expectations with serious issues that need addressing, especially for a five-star and Relais & Chateaux hotel.
“So poor we did not stay.An expensive scam.”
+The room was so bad we did not stay. This hotel shows their top room in a photo and it is a scam as the room we were given was dark, small, with a low ceiling like a cell in a prison. No room for a desk, no jug, no tea making facility, dreadful stone steps to access, bathroom you could hardly turn around in. Decor non existent. We asked for the room in the photo provided with our booking or our money back. They offered us a room that was fairly comparable with a slightly higher ceiling! So depressing we left. The only positive was the very helpful staff member that helped us book an air bnb! We felt totally scammed by this very expensive experience.we complained to Hotels.com and received an apology. As we did not stay in this hotel and it was not as advertised this is of no help to us.
