“Clean, modern room in an ideal location close, but not too close, to the bustle of Taormina”
+The location is just perfect - it's on a side street off one of the major walkways, so there is much less street noise than you might get just a half block away. It's a quiet spot near restaurants and shops, just perfect. For me it's not an issue, but because it's on the ground level there are no tall stairways to ascend like many rentals in the area so for people with some mobility issue this spot is ideal. The space itself is nicely appointed, clean, and modern. In an unusual bonus for such places the bathroom is large and the shower spacious and contemporary. The host was helpful, and recommended a tour company about 100m away which not only was cheaper than what I saw advertised on TripAdvisor and GetYourGuide, but provided excellent service for tours of Mt Etna and a local winery.
−There's nothing not to like about this place. I do have a suggestion to make it better however - there is ample room for a little kitchenette - the space is definitely large enough to support a small counter, cooktop, sink and so on which would be nice to have for extended stays...this may not be important if as a guest your plan is to hit the great selection of restaurants over a short stay however.

+Excellent location, good check in process
−The room is a bit noisy and the curtains do not block the streetlights so it was hard to sleep

+Outstanding location, great host and clean room.
−Ground floor apartment so you hear a bit of street noise, the curtains don’t block out street lights and wifi is bad.

“Good”
+Location, location, location😊 It was clean and well equipped and the location was perfect
−It was a bit too dark because it was ground level, entering the room directly from the street and only one narrow window. Also, there was s bit of humidity problem.
