“Amazing place - must visit if in the Osa area!”
+Amazing views, trails and beach access. Loved the natural pool!
−Considering it’s an eco lodge, the plant-based options were very limited. Bathroom could do with better lighting.

“Great unforgetable stay, this hotel is a jewel and will do again if I where to return to Uvita.”
+Amazing location near the national park. Our room had amazing views of the bay and national park. We saw tucans and other exotic birds every day. Pool was a great place to come back after tours where the kids would play and drain remaining energy. La poza was AMAZING, such a luxury ti have a private natural pool. They also have private access to a secluded beach that belongs to the national park, we didn’t get in because it is quite rough but you definitely can go in. It was a very beautiful place to relax and take pictures. The walk to the beach was also a beautiful path filled with roots. The hostess at the recepcion was also amazing in sharing information and making us feel at home. it felt like we where in her home and she was hosting us, very good service overall. The rooms where spacious and while being ecofriendly they felt very luxurious.
−The food and restaurant service can definitely benefit from an upgrade, and the staff could also benefit from better training in service as well as food preparation. Breakfast was fine but then we decided to have dinner and it was very basic preparation and the waiter missed some of our requests.

−No AC- I could not sleep for 2 nights as it was very hot, the fan was not enough.

“Selva pura”
+El hotel es selvático y tiene un entorno increíble. Las vistas desde la recepción son impresionantes, tiene rutas propias y una poza super bonita para ir a bañarse. Las habitaciones también tienen unas vistas espectaculares aunque son bastante sencillas. De todos modos es un hotel con mucho encanto. La cena estaba muy rica.
−No te hacen limpieza de la habitación si no lo pides cada día, lo cual para un hotel de sus características es inaceptable y no es así como te lo explican en el check in. Pedimos que nos dejaran irnos una noche antes sin coste por un problema personal y no fueron nada flexibles al respecto. El personal no es tan amable como en el resto del país.

“Einzigartig und sehr naturverbundene Lage mit toller Aussicht”
+Traumlage mit atemberaubendem Blick über den Pazifik. Unser schönster Sonnenuntergang entlang der gesamten Küste. Nette Sundowner-Bar. Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Viele Tiere direkt am Gelände.
−Klimatisierung der Hütten wäre von Vorteil.

“Traumlage zwischen Dschungel und Pazifik”
+Ein wahres Paradies mitten im Dschungel! Die Häuschen der La Cusinga Lodge liegen wunderschön verteilt zwischen dem satten Grün. Rund 200 Meter entfernt findet man neben dem Pool auch einen “Pond” - ein natürliches Becken in einem Fluss - sowie diverse Trails und einen privaten Zugang zum Arco Beach, für uns einer der schönsten Strände überhaupt. Fast den ganzen Aufenthalt hatten wir ihn komplett für uns allein. Da die Lodge erhöht liegt, genießt man eine grandiose Aussicht auf den Pazifik und die berühmte Walflosse von Uvita, die allerdings nur bei Ebbe vollständig sichtbar ist. Ein echtes Paradies für Vogelbeobachtungen: gefühlt tausend Vögel, dazu Tukane, Tamanduas, diverse Echsen und jede Menge Affen samt Babys. Auch kulinarisch top: Frühstück und Abendessen waren ausgezeichnet - der Cusinga Bowl ist absolut zu empfehlen, ebenso die Margaritas von der Bar.
−Durch Insekten und Brüllaffen kann es nachts laut werden - für uns aber einfach Teil des Dschungel-Erlebnisses und kein echter Kritikpunkt.
