“Good, but can be improved.”
+Clean, close to town
−No bedside lamp. Both rooms' security gates had problems - needed trick to open. Bright light on all night outside the room with sheer curtains - battled to sleep. Low hanging cable from garage to the rooms potential hazard. Swimming pool an eyesore.

“Disappointing experience”
+The rooms were clean and Charles was very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the aircon worked well.
−The property does not match the description on Booking.com. The pool hasn't been in use for a long time, and the tv's weren't functional. There were no free toiletries in the bathrooms. The kitchen had minimal utensils and what they had was mostly mismatched, ie. glasses, mugs, bowls. There were no milk sachets for the tea (only rooibos, which is not enjoyed by all). My biggest gripe though is that I got very little sleep that night. The whole property is lit up extensively outside and the only narrow curtain was not a blockout curtain. I kept waking up and eventually got up at 2:30 as I couldnt sleep further. A request to switch the light outside my room off wasn't done as apparently they're all on the same automatic switch. Attention to detail was lacking in the room which was stark.

“An awful place to stay at if I must say.👎👎👎 The location was all right but the guesthouse wasn’t.”
+The location
−The dirty bedding… they bedding wasn’t changed. Took pictures and sent it to the owner and she said she will refund me on the 26th of July 2026(I will wait) Tv doesn’t work and that’s as good as not working yet online they said they have a tv. Blinds are not able to close properly as they are old… meaning you can’t walk from the room to the bathroom naked because whoever is outside can see you. The next room’s bathroom is right next to our bed and when they shower you would swear that they are next to me… so we woke up at 5am because the people were busy showering. Bathroom had dead insects, clearly in wasn’t cleaned properly.

“not going back!”
+The best part of our stay was the help we received from a young gentleman who assisted us with all the problems we had. Unfortunatley we didn't get his name.
−Property was not in good condition. Would definitley not go back there. Good example was the TV - which didn't work and was at very high level behind a cupboard door so we probably couldn't have watched it any way.
