“Nice base for a trip to El Zonte”
+The room was comfy and the bed was big. The communal space shine, the kitchen is well stock, very organised and cleaned often. Drinking water is available for refills. There are plenty of seats for meals and variety of places to relax in the day including sofas and hammocks. It was a very friendly vibe with lots of remote workers hanging around during the day. The location is good, close to restaurants, bars and the beach. There is a handy on site shop and two cafes operate within the premises.
−Our main issue was in the bathroom. There is no hot water (not a problem in itself in Central America) and the shower drain doesn't work so the large space quickly fills and you are left standing in a ankle deep freezing water which isn't very pleasant. The staff at the businesses that operate on site are often sat in the communal spaces playing loud TikTok's throughout the day which can taint the relaxing atmosphere at times.

“Great spot for the travelling surfer.”
+Location was great and you get to meet international surfers and travellers. Handy shop and cafe.
−Shared bathrooms to some rooms which were quite small. The en suite rooms were bigger and better. No pool.

+It’s enclosed with a nice courtyard. There’s a shower to wash off after the beach. It’s in between two very good food places and has a convenient store right there as well.

“Nice cold AC, perfect location, great restaurants nearby, great kitchen”
+Great little room with cold AC. The room was also so close to the beach with choices for restaurants as well. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and everything you could need with your own large tub with your room number for your own groceries and also fridge space clearly organised. A couple of little shops nearby and on the property as well. El Zonte is quite humid so we really appreciated the AC. I wouldn't book a room without it. We hired a scooter and rode over to el tunco. Glad we booked el Zonte instead.
−It was all good.
