“Beautiful hotel with a great breakfast and location.”
+The breakfast was fabulous, and we were in a room that was located outside, which was very private and nicely appointed. Great location to explore, and a beautiful hotel.
−We wish there was an elevator or access to go out via the back, as my mom had hurt her knee and this would have been helpful. Not the fault of the property, but just to be aware if you have mobility challenges.

“Peaceful Palermo Retreat”
+Comfortable spot with beautiful aesthetic. Wonderful elegant yet cozy interior common space and a glorious, ample rooftop terrazzo with peaceful view of water. Perfect for meditative relaxation, reading or appertivo. Interior courtyard garden space equally lovely. Staff very helpful as needed. L’Hotellerie is perfect balance of privacy and attention

“The hotel has a distinctive design, but the musty smell caused by mould, unreliable hot water, numerous mosquitoes, and”
+The hotel is beautifully designed and has a lot of character.
−Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing due to several issues: 1. Mould and unpleasant smell: There was visible mould on the wall behind the bed, accompanied by a strong musty smell. I would advise anyone with allergies or who is particularly sensitive to cleanliness to think twice before booking. 2. Unreliable hot water: The water pressure in the shower was very weak, and the temperature constantly fluctuated between hot and cold, making showering quite uncomfortable. 3. Mosquitoes: There were quite a lot of mosquitoes at night, so I strongly recommend bringing insect repellent. 4. Power outage: Last night, there was a power outage lasting approximately four hours. During that time, we had no Wi-Fi or hot water. Overall, while the design is certainly appealing, the basic comfort and maintenance standards need significant improvement. A beautiful interior alone is not enough to guarantee a pleasant stay.

“Nice apartments, close to old town”
+Very nice apartments and 5mins walk from the historic old town of Palermo. Free parking outside was a bonus. Room was nicely furnished, bed huge and comfortable, breakfast was good and the rooftop jacuzzi pool was fab for a sunny afternoon
−If I was going to Palermo again,I wouldn't drive as it is one of the worst cities to drive round as a visitor in a rental car. There is a busy road outside the hotel, though it is not audible from the rooms- only the roof terrace

“Disappointed in location and the room”
+It was a large room with plenty of space and overall a very pretty and aesthetic hotel inside.
−The aircon was clearly faulty and made extremely loud sounds making it difficult to sleep. Location was not convenient at least a 20 min walk to most of the central places or an expensive uber!

“Luxurious, beautiful, relaxing”
+Great location, loved the pool area on an afternoon! And the staff were always really friendly at the bar on an evening. Room was beautiful and the air conditioning is amazing, you forget how hot it is outside!
−The only downside is that the shower was either very cold or very hot, but not a major issue given that a cool shower was welcome in the August heat.

“Character stay with low intensity”
+Fun and intriguing property. On sea front about 10mins from historic centre but on an interesting lowkey main route to tourist heartland
−Kettle didn’t have a dedicated socket and I needed to move it under a table to plug it in! First world problem
