“12/10 experience”
+We really had a wonderful time at L’Antico Asilo. The property was even more beautiful than one could imagine from seeing the pictures here on booking. We had an exceptional view from our Mountain View Appartement. Everything was super clean and comfortable. The hosts both were super lovely, kind and helpful in any way. Daniela was available in any moment for questions according to hiking routes, restaurant recommendations and even reserving a table in Italian for us. She even was available for further information about the Tuscany region. Both hosts helped us to reach the next bus stop to Pietrasanta by taking us with them in their car. On top of that: The breakfast was way more than we expected! They had freshly baked cakes, jam, savoury spreads, pancakes and juices served with coffee each morning. Daniela even offered vegan options, which where more than delicious. Side note: there is a lovely restaurant near by with local and regional products, vegan options are available too. Overall it was a 12 out of 10 experience and we would love to come back again!
−First of all, the property was lovely. Our downgrades are more about the local infrastructure: you can get to the property by public bus, but you have to walk the last meters uphill. Daniela and her relative said that one can contact her and ask her for a pick up from the nearest bus stop. Otherwise we would recommend to come by car individually. An other thing is, that the local restaurant will not be open at every evening (we went there in October). There is no supermarket or different restaurant close by, so we would recommend to bring some food for lunch or dinner. Just to mention: the hosts were super helpful in that case too.

“I would definitely come again when I’m in the area!”
+Everything! The hosts are incredibly helpful and you felt like being at home. The house itself is completely renovated and came out beautiful. The homemade cakes for breakfast were delicious and you can start various hikes from Stazzema. The rooms are very clean, the beds are comfortable and you have a beautiful view on the mountains surrounding the village.
−There’s no restaurant in Stazzema, but within 15 minutes you can reach several restaurants in the area by car.

“A lovely place stay in a beautiful part of Italy”
+A beautiful property and lovely rooms. Great location for nearby hikes and set in a quaint village. We absolutely loved watching the thunderstorms from bed. Daniela was a fantastic host and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and catered to my dietary requirements.

+Wir waren auf der Durchreise nach Süditalien und haben hier übernachtet. Alles war außerordentlich: Lage Ausstattung, Ruhe, Sauberkeit, super nettes Inhaberehepaar. Einfach unglaublich. Der perfekte Einstieg in den Italienurlaub.

“Serenità, tranquillità e passione”
+L’accoglienza ti dice tutto del posto ancora prima di entrare. Daniela e Moreno ci hanno accolto come se fossimo della famiglia. Presenti e discreti mettono quella passione che serve per far sì che il tuo soggiorno sia da ricordare. La struttura ottima, curata e piacevole di estate, tornerei per viverla anche in inverno e per rigustare la buonissima cecina. (Stiamo cercando invano di replicarla).
