“Tranquil Traditional Perfection”
+A wonderful traditional Japanese in that felt like a world away. The food was delicious and traditional. The staff was warm and accommodating and eating in the room was a relaxing way to end the day. The in-room ofuro had natural spring water but I preferred the hotel onsen to soak away the aches of hiking during the day. The inn only has 8 rooms and is perched above a river gorge. I want to return. Overall great value considering the quality of everything from the food to the room.
−Nothing. I wish they had more drinking water in the room although they did give us four bottles a night. I still like more water than most.

“Amazing!! Highly recommended for those who want to experience a traditional Japanese onsen.”
+Kyousen exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The food was amazing (better than some of the Michelin rated restaurants we ate at in Tokyo and Kyoto). The rooms were clean and spacious. The view and surrounding natural setting were amazing. Staff and ambience incredible. We hope we can make it back some day. Highly recommended for those who want to experience a traditional Japanese onsen.

“Fantastisk ryokan med onsen på magisk plats”
+Magiskt litet ryokan! Unikt ställe i liten by.
