+Upstairs and downstairs, quiet area. Having 2 toilets was nice, plus washer/dryer situation.
−I didn't realize Japan charges per person versus per lodging. Therefore, the lodging price can go from reasonable to luxury pricing quickly, so keep that in mind when traveling with a group. You also need to be happy sleeping in one room on the floor, which not all my adult kids were.

“Everything you need for a true Japan adventure!”
+The house was exactly what my wife and I needed! It’s in a very walkable neighborhood with a huge mall just a few blocks away that includes grocery stores and shops. It’s also right next to bus lines that easily connect to the train stations , and it only costs about $1.50 USD (240 yen) per person. The home has everything you could possibly need. Just make sure to read the manual provided, as it explains how to operate everything, including the hot water controls (the shower pressure was amazing!). If you want a truly authentic Japanese experience, this home and neighborhood have it all. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby , some right on the street and others just a short walk away. The big ramen shop one block from the house, served the BEST ramen I’ve ever had in my life with huge portions and very affordable! Stop reading reviews and just book this place , it’s all you need!
−The stairs are in true Japanese style , steep and almost straight up. If you have knee problems, this might not be the ideal place, but for everyone else, you’ll get used to them quickly. After a day or two, the climb to the second floor just feels like part of the authentic Japan experience.

“Ideal for a stay in Kyoto easy access to trains and roads.”
+Lovely place to stay. Facilities were good and clean. Washing machine used and not difficult to use just a small problem with drying. Do not do a large wash. Kitchen area good and was used. Comfortable beds.
−As we used the kitchen to cook it would be good if we had a bigger table to use. Bit tight on parking, good for a smaller car.

−Very steep stairs to the second floor. Toilets are ob the first floor, bedrooms on the second. Going up and down is challenging, not suitable for elderly guests.

+Fijn huis, van alle gemakken voorzien. Groot winkelcentrum vlakbij en ook genoeg restaurants. Metro en bus op loop afstand. Mooie plek om kyoto te verkennen

“Billig og helt ok overnatting i Kyoto”
+Der var to toaletter med varme i setene og spylefunksjon. Huset var rent. En stor seng med plass til to voksne. Beliggenhet nær kjøpesenter og praktisk busslinje 202. Rimelig med taxi til Kyoto station. God skapplass/oppbevaring på det ene soverommet. Lett og rask kommunikasjon på e-post med utleier. God wifi.
−Vi var der i desember og det var veldig kaldt i 1.etasje. Vanskelig å få opp temperaturen. Kald sanitæravdeling. Godt og varmt i 2.etasje, så vi oppholdt oss der om kvelden. Veldig bratt trapp opp og ned. Lite privatliv, man bør kjenne hverandre godt. 7 personer var litt for mange. Beliggenhet i enkelt strøk, se foto av utsikt.
