+It's good value for money. Location is good, close to centre and Padang Beach, but not located right on the main street, which makes it quieter. Shower is cold (and water pressure is not good), but with the heat outside it didn't bother us. No blankets provided, only a sheet that was already in the bed. Aircon is cold and works perfectly. They provide free mineral water, as much as you want to refill your bottles. No kitchen facilities, no fridge. Very basic. But it works if you are on a budget.

“Cheap stay, would not recommend unless you like it in the trenches”
+Nice staff, good location. Aircon was effective and kept the room cool. You also get free water included.
−Where to start… this place is suitable for travellers who like to stay up late drinking and socialising, and have poor standards for cleanliness and comfort. The container walls are very thin and the doors/windows are not sealed effectively. The rooms are situated around the central courtyard, in the middle of them which there is a table and benches situated. For the duration of our stay young travellers, namely loud Australians, would arrive to these benches circa 10pm and would sit drinking and being loud till the early hours of the morning. We bought ear plugs after the first night and no word of a lie you could still hear the people as if they were in the same room as you. The shower has no temperature control, which on it’s own is ok, but then the shower head is also broken meaning that you get a single stream of water running down the shower itself rather than squirting outwards. You have to cup the water in your hands and throw it over yourself to wash properly. The ‘covers’ you get on the bed are too short, I would estimate only 1 meter long - we had to use towels and clothes as covers to make up the difference. −Dirty, no space for backpacks, no space for phone or anything on the bed, no cosy outside thing, just containers with beds. Also they renewed my bed when I was still staying, my pyjamas were on the bed and somehow disappeared through this action.

“Cheap(ish) but definitely not worth it.”
+The location was convenient, but even that was not enough to compensate for everything else. Also the street to get to the hostel was sketchy and full of trash.
−Pretty much everything. The AC was not working, we set it on the lowest possible temperature and still it was just blowing hot air. It was hoter inside than outside (outside 25 degrees). The room, the beds and the bathroom were really smelly. The curtains were broken. Been in a lot of hostels in Indonesia and this one was by far the worst one. And it wasn’t even that cheap, had a lot of hostels for 3-4€ a night and they were clean and nice. The people workkng here were also not nice, didn’t say hi to anyone, when I wanted to check in there was no one there and after I texted them the guy came to the place unhappy.

“Perfect for a surfer overnight stay in PadangPadang.”
+I stay here quite a bit, to surf. It’s basic but exactly what I need for one night. The bed is comfortable, shower and toilet works, and the owner/ manager is great. Very friendly.

“Bon séjour d’en l’ensemble à Uluwatu dans cet hôtel”
+L’emplacement est très bien, dans le centre d’uluwatu. Bon rapport qualité prix pour l’emplacement.
−Si je devais dire quelque chose de négatif, ce serait que c’est un peu sombre et douche en extérieur qui peut amener des bêtes.
