“Definitle happy to recoommend and 100% would go back for a seamless, discreet, 5* hotel experience.”
+Fantastic quality hotel, spotless, discreet, grown up but with a bit of character, unlike so many others. Exceptional rooms and very quiet. Good home cooked breakfast, great staff. Proper 5 star. The location is'nt maybe describable as premiere, its (probably deliberately) away from the more tourist centric upscale hotels on the waterfront. But the building has a confident, deep and understated level of well curated quality. Its character, scale and presence support the assured level of service and add to the overall experience of staying there. In fact we actively liked the short bus journeys, easy taxi pick ups and our many walks in the surrounding streets and districts. it is a clean, safe, well run, walkable city and all the better for it. In my view this is partly what makes this a top option for a short stay (or a longer one - the suites are spectacularly large and well appointed). There is so much unexpected to see nearby just by walking around and looking up.
−The homeless folk outside on the benches in the small square in the mornings. I dont mean that in a cruel way, but less confident guests or solo travellers could find this a but intimidating and I think its fair to mention it on that basis. Watch out for the spa opening hours which can catch you out - but its a very well designed and run place.

“Easy and gentle place to stay in the beautiful city of Budapest.”
+The property whilst located in a beautiful old building is modern and very well equipped. The sauna, jacuzzi and swimming pool were all clean and working with fresh towels and water available without having to ask. The staff at the hotel were all delightful and friendly but especially helpful was the Concierge Zoltan Fekete, no request was too difficult for him, his knowledge of Budapest its attractions, transport and restaurants was encyclopedic but even better was, that he is incredibly approachable and friendly at all times. At breakfast there was a good variety of quality foods and pots of coffee were available on request. We will definitely be back.
