“What a perfectly amazing stay”
+We had a wonderful stay at Koala Cottage and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Isle of Wight. Shona and Amanda were absolutely fantastic hosts , incredibly welcoming, friendly and attentive, and they really made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was beautiful, spotlessly clean, comfortable and very well presented. The breakfast was amazing too, with a great choice and everything cooked perfectly. It was certainly a great way to start the day! Godshill itself is a stunning village and a lovely place to stay, with plenty of character and beautiful surroundings. A fantastic B&B, wonderful hosts and a beautiful location. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at Koala Cottage again. Highly recommended!

+Very friendly hosts. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was both generous and beautifully cooked.
−Being an internal room on 3 sides it was difficult to ventilate without leaving the French doors to the room open at night. It would have been nice to have had a pre 9am option for breakfast available.

+The property is well positioned and whilst secluded there was plenty nearby. The hosts were friendly and engaging making us feel very welcome. They were attentive and never missed an opportunity to ensure we had everything we needed. The breakfasts were fantastic, the best salmon and scrambled eggs I’ve ever had! The produce is local and of high quality as was the cooking. The rooms are beautiful with very comfortable bed and pillows ensuring we had a good rest in between our busy days.
−There was nothing about the property or our stay there that we didn’t like.

+The cottage is in a beautiful location, surrounded by thatched cottages, tea rooms and lovely countryside. There’s a pub and 2 restaurants within walking distance. Our room was very comfortable and clean, with a range of amenities, and the bathroom was spacious. Our hosts were great - very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfasts and the outside bar too.

“Excellent stay at Koala Cottage”
+We received a very warm welcome and the communication prior to our stay was excellent. We were delighted with the suite, very large, comfortable with a terrace outside. It was spotlessly clean, with a great selection of teas and real coffee. The bathroom was luxurious! Roll top bath and separate shower with nice toiletries. 10/10 for the comfort and space of the room. The first night we had cocktails at the Tikki bar, with the hosts Shona and Amanda, what a superb touch ...then walked five minutes to The Griffin.- standard pub fayre but pleasant and inviting. The location of Koala Cottage is ideal for exploring the Isle, couldn't be better. The second night we ate at Thai Journey two minutes walk away...one of the best restaurants I've been to. Book in advance for the Thai restaurant. We had a really great mini break on the Island.. Thank you Shona and Amanda for the informative chats about the Island, general tips and warmth , Sarah, I nearly forgot to mention the excellent breakfasts, quality produce and delicious!
