+Sally is a fantastic host with a lovely home. The property is very private, comfortable and has great security. Everything we needed was at hand, and the location is close to shops and food outlets. Our dog Peggy really enjoyed the stay too, particularly as there is a private dog field in the village (booking needed). We would definitely recommend Kingsbarns and stay here again if we're in the area.

“Kingsbarns”
+We liked the host (Scott and Sally). They put you at ease straight away. The room was very nice and warm. The bathroom was very clean, with a amazing shower. If ever we need to stay overnight again in this area, I would definitely book kingsbarns again.

−The room could have been cleaned better, the bed sheets had hair on them and were slightly dusty. While the house itself was quite posh, it didn’t quite feel worth the money. No offence to the owners, as they were very pleasant and friendly throughout. The check-in time was also unusually late at 5:30pm. Most places allow check-in by 2pm, so this was a bit inconvenient. That said, they did accommodate my late check-out request on the final day, which I appreciated.

+In our work we have stayed at some of the finest hotels across the world. The standard and quality of decor here, not only matched, but in many cases surpassed these. A beautifully appointed room. Above that, the welcome that Scott and Sally gave, made us feel we had come home. We travelled with our Labrador, and we felt he was just as welcome. A big thank you to you both. Hope to have the chance to stay again.
−In this case, the question is irrelevant. There was absolutely nothing that we would be able to find fault with. A totally pleasurable stay. Our only regret is that it was just the one night's stay.
