“Know before you book”
+Convenient.
−Was told because I made this reservation on Booking.com that I was not entitled to a packed breakfast ahead of time. Cable TV did not work and was not given a credit even when I asked, I was given an excuse.

“Great stay”
+I really liked my stay at Kingfishers. The room was spacious, well maintained and very clean. The pool area was also amazing, was so nice to relax there. There are two malls and several restaurants/shops in the area, where you can easily walk. Everything else is reachable by Uber. Would definitely come again.
−The staff could be a bit more present sometimes, e.g. at the pool bar. Also I do not like it if a lot of dishes on the menu card in the restaurant are available, then please do not have them there. But just minors.

“A beautiful escape in the city!”
+Friendly and flexible staff, clean and comfortable property. We loved the beautiful terrace and the nice pool. Delicious breakfast with a lot of variety.
−Probably a temporary issue, and definitely not anything to blame the hotel for: At daytime there was a lot of noise coming from a nearby construction site. This was only disturbing us in the breakfast hall and when on the terrace, but it did not disturb us in our room.

“Perfectly accommodating”
+Convenient stop over in Nairobi. Secure and good value with the well appointed West Gate Mall literally next door. Very accommodating if you want to leave luggage while off to the beach or safari. Will look no further than here if we're in Nairobi again.

“Disappointing. I took it for the pool and bright clean rooms neither of which were there”
+I liked the artwork and colours
−Room was okay but looks like it needs a deep clean. My view was of the building site and the pool was green and very heavily dosed with chemicals

“Our 1st choice in Nairobi”
+Stayed here a few times on and off in between doing Safari and beach and each time the staff were brilliant especially Daisy in the restaurant who epitomises that Kenyan happiness and friendliness. Good value restaurant for food and drink and perfect hotel for leaving luggage while off on a beach or Safari trek.
