10.0+Jim was a fantastic host, great breakfast, I was there for further training for work and had to leave in the mornings at different times, Jim always asked me what time I wanted my breakfast, not a problem for him.(I passed all the exams Jim) My room was also great, we had a very minor problem with my first room, and Jim immediately upgraded me to a bigger room. Thanks for that, Jim. Amazing views. Beautiful area.
−Not much of an option if you don't have your own transport.

9.0“Excellent stay, loved it and the landlord/owner was very welcoming and helpful.”
+Fantastic quiet location. Enjoyed it, but you will need a car to get to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent, so was the room. Very clean and with lots of space, the bathroom included.

10.0“A flawless, multi-generational stay where everyone felt welcomed, comfortable, and impressed.”
+cannot recommend it highly enough! From start to finish, our host Jim, along with Heidi and his sister, did an exceptional job ensuring we felt welcome. What makes this property a must-book: * Wonderful Welcome: They were incredibly accommodating with our late evening arrival. Seeing the beautiful building lit up down the road with warmth radiating from the windows was the perfect first impression. * Flawless Rooms: Our room was spacious, warm, and spotlessly clean. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and even the high-quality linen smelled absolutely beautiful. * Fantastic Breakfast & Views: We enjoyed an ample breakfast with endless flowing coffee while looking out at the cattle and lovely lake views. * The Piano Bonus: As a wonderful extra touch, having a piano available was a fantastic bonus that added so much charm to our stay. * Great Atmosphere: The home has a lovely, friendly environment that made interacting with the other guests a pleasure. * Travel Tip: It is worth noting for future guests that you do need a car to get there, but the idyllic location makes the drive completely worthwhile!
−Absolutely nothing! Every single one of us was thoroughly impressed, which is no small feat given our ages range from the late 50s down to teenagers. It was completely flawless.

10.0+Jim the owner made us very welcome, I accidentally booked a twin room and he happily changed it to a double, then rang and booked dinner in local village for us He also cooks a great breakfast and the place is quiet and very very clean.

10.0“We recommend Kilcreeny Lodge 100% and will definitely return”
+My husband and I spent five nights at Kilcreeny Lodge and it was perfect in every way. The location was ideal for our needs and the house itself is stunning inside. From our room we had a perfectly beautiful view of the Mourne Mountains. The room was spotless and of ample size with an en-suite including shower. Plenty of hot water any time it was needed. There are tea and coffee facilities supplied. There are ample breakfast choices including cereal, fruit juice, yogurt, fruits, toast. My husband had the full Irish cooked breakfast and said it was outstanding. I had the most amazing porridge. Just like my grandma used to make. Jim the host is an absolute star, a complete gentleman. His cooking skills for breakfast are first class. He was very welcoming when we arrived and we found him to be extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning to stay here and we both highly recommend Kilcreeny Lodge with Jim and the team.
−Absolutely nothing, we had no complaints whatsoever. It was an amazing stay, with great food, craic and friendships made.

10.0“Comfortable place to stay, impressive breakfast”
+Kilcreeny Lodge did not exceed my expectations as I’ve been before & know it’s top quality. I visit NI often and just need a comfortable bed, I struggle to justify £100 + per night for this. In my experience Kilcreeny Lodge is the best accommodation in NI. You can likely find similar but at a much higher rate. You do need your own transport, car/bicycle, as taxi to Lisburn transport hub is £16 and I didn’t see any buses near. Lovely large house in beautiful quiet surroundings, the central sweeping staircase on entry is a marvel. Lots of quiet comfortable lounge space if you want to relax at home, I was out and about travelling/ visiting, you’re well placed to explore the 6 counties, I focused on Down, fabulous country road (sometimes narrow) driving. Jim is a charming host, puts you at your ease and on hand if wanted for any accommodation. I thought I may need to do some clothes washing, but didn’t, Jim happy to facilitate. I would pay the £ rate without breakfast, yet breakfast is included and as impressive as it is delicious. Fried breakfast, vegetarian option, that I would pay £20 for ordinarily. Also fruit and cereal. Nice shower, I had shared bathroom & didn’t see anyone else
