“Authentic and charming stay with great fresh food”
+We had a wonderful time and really felt we were welcomed in this family’s home. It felt special and the kids loved it, highlighting the kindness and hospitality of the host. The food was amazing, freshly made.

+Mustafa and his lovely wife are perfect hosts. The surf food was excellent and we had very nice discussions with Mustafa as well as with other guests. The common rooms in the Kasbah support this interaction.

“Very nice host and lovely breakfast with beautiful views.”
+The proprietor could not have been more wonderful. We had to come a day earlier because there were unexpected floods in the desert that wiped out roads and we could not get to our other location. He welcomed us even though we got there late in the evening. It was great because we had been driving for over 10 hours. The location was beautiful and overlooked the entire valley. You could see snow on the mountains across the way.
−It was a bit difficult to get there in the night because they too had a lot of rain and the dirt road was a bit dodgy. I think it would have been ok if we had daylight. We got lost leaving there because the had washed out roads as well. We finally met a young man on a motorcycle that helped us find out way back to the highway. The beds were very hard but I thinks that's normal there.

“Like a home stay with great views”
+This felt more like a home stay than a road/hotel. Kasbah Izoran is down a bumpy road. It has exceptional views. The owner Mustafa is warm and friendly. He built the house and you can tell it is a labor of love. The rooms are named after wonderful figures like Gandhi and Martin Luther King. Mustafa upgraded toa bigger room but I would still call it modest. MUstafa’s wife makes and serves the food his kids run around. I loved that. I had messaged Mustafa asking for dinner the morning before we arrived and waning him we were vegetarians but apparently he didn’t have a chance to read my message. But we had homemade soup and salad, bread and a lovely fruit plate. Breakfast was a simple omelet, bread and spreads plus orange juice and coffee.
−I couldn’t sleep well because there was a dog chained up outside that was barking most of the night (apparently at foxes). I even had earplugs but the dog still kept me up.

+Beautiful, typical Kasbah situated in Midelt, the prefect stop between the desert and the north of Morocco. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was very delicious.

“Fantastisch”
+Wunderschönes Hotel bei Midelt, traumhafte Lage und Aussicht.Die Zimmer sind sehr grosszügig, sehr sauber, gepflegt und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Man erreicht das Hotel über eine Naturstrasse ohne Probleme und kann direkt vor der Unterkunft parken.Der Parkplatz ist geschützt und überwacht. Das Abendessen war sehr lecker und das Frühstück auch, sehr reichhaltig mit Rührei, Crêpes, Oliven, Käse und leckeren Marmeladen. Wir kommen gern wieder, es war ein kurzer aber schöner Aufenthalt.

+Sehr familiäre Atmosphäre, Abendessen kann dazugebucht werden
−Die Duschkabine ist so klein, dass man Platzangst bekommt und das sehr kleine Waschbecken direkt im Zimmer zwischen WC- und Duschtüre war zu minimalistisch, die Bettwäsche aus Kunstfaser im schmalen Doppelbett ist auch eher unangenehm.
