+A beautifully restored palace featuring authentic, traditional decor
−A major downside was the lack of luggage assistance upon arrival and departure. Another inconvenience was how long it took for hot water to start flowing in the shower.

“A beautiful hotel with amazing views, excellent value and exceptionally helpful staff.”
+Kasbah Illy is a beautiful hotel with an amazing view and excellent value. The receptionist was exceptionally kind and helpful. She arranged my taxi and personally made sure the Arabic-speaking driver understood exactly where I needed to go.
−The restaurant did not match the quality of the hotel. The chicken I ordered was very dry and disappointing.

“Excellent stay”
+The location and the view is just out of this world. The food was great and the staff very friendly. The pool area is very well designed and the addition of a TV to watch sports is a great touch.
−The lighting in the room needs to be a little brighter.

“Nice Kasbah but not very cozy”
+The room was very nice and spacious
−There was a bit of a smell in the room. There was no bottled water in the room. It was quite cold everywhere and not very cozy. Lights were not turned on everywhere, fires in fire places were not lit. Only one person spoke English/French.
