+The food was amazing! Every mean we ate was really high quality and delicious. Very impressive for Thailand. The vilas had a Mykonos vibe which was cool!
−We felt the villas were too far away from Fisherman’s village. It’s. 15-20min walk in the heat there. Or a 5min cab ride.

“A charming boutique hotel with plenty of potential , pleasant for a short stay, but a few details still need improvement”
+Karma Resort is a lovely boutique hotel with a lot of potential. We enjoyed our stay overall, although I feel there are still a few areas that need some improvement for the hotel to fully live up to that potential. In general, it’s a very pleasant place for a short stay in Koh Samui. Breakfast was good, although a little repetitive. You can choose from several dishes from the à la carte menu, which works perfectly well for a few days, but could become quite monotonous during a longer stay. Breakfast includes juice (the fresh orange juice was delicious!), coffee, fruit and one selected dish. Anything additional is charged separately. This is not a major issue, but when breakfast is included in the room rate, having to pay extra for additional breakfast items feels a little unnecessary. The biggest disappointment was the air conditioning in our room, which was not working when we arrived. In my opinion, a guest should be able to expect that the room and its essential facilities are checked before check-in, rather than having technical issues discovered and repaired after arrival. We were told there was an issue with the refrigerant. Unfortunately, this resulted in us spending the fir
