“The most wonderful gem to be found in the mountains. 10/10 in every way possible!”
+It was situated in this most beautiful, densely forested valley. The house was traditional and had a fantastic atmosphere to it. The couple running the guesthouse are just beautiful and warm and it was a genuine pleasure to interact with them every time we did. The breakfast was traditional and consisted of entirely local ingredients. The eggs provided were particularly outstanding , having come from the proprietor's own chickens, they must have been the freshest eggs I had eaten in my entire life and became so wonderfully frothy when mixed with the rice. It was by far the best airbnb we stayed at during our entire trip to Japan, and I pray I will return soon to stay longer. From Emma and Laura to our hosts: much love from Scotland! We still think about you and Noah!
−Literally nothing could have been improved about our stay except the fact we only stayed one night when we should have stayed a week!

+Most amazing hosts! Their kindness and openness was truly heartwarming and I am really thankful! They showed me around in the city and showed my their chickens! The ingredients we bought from them was truly delicious and the property was so cosy with a fireplace. I had an amazing time and can only recommend.

+Very interesting place. Area of outstanding natural beauty. Guest house has plenty of room, and good facilities. Hosts are welcoming and helpful. Recommend an evening visit to local Onsen, see if you can spot the wild turtles in rivers on the way.
−All good. An ideal antidote to busy city life.

+Located at the rustic countryside, the place was amazing. The hosts were very friendly and spoke very good English. We have fun touring around the small farms and feeding the chickens. We rented a car so we have no issues getting there.

“Wonderful place with a lovely family”
+What a wonderful place with a lovely family. Thank you so much for this experience. It’s a very old and traditional Japanese wood house. We enjoyed our stay. It gave us "Ghibli vibes". Unfortunately we had to leave one day earlier than planned because of some health issues. Luckily the host called for us a local doctor and made an appointment for me. And we got our missed night refunded without us even asking! I can’t thank you enough. Such good people. We will definitely come again one day!
