“Overhyped and Pretentious.”
+The owner allowed me last minute booking for a night as I was in the train from Napoli. Comfortable bed. Clean bathroom. Reliable wifi.
−I have been to over 500 BnBs in over 100 cities in 25 countries and counting and unfortunately this was in the worst 10 experiences. There is nothing Greek or Italian about this listing. More suited for former Yugoslavia Balkans, Caucasus, Eastern Europe or Russia/Belarus/Ukraine. Although this was stated as a shared house I found this to be extremely pretentious and overwhelming. From the excellent reviews on booking and google (all of which now seem to come from the owners friends and family) to my experience was a total 180 degree opposite. The sheer amount of contortions and backward gymnastics to be done for locking and unlocking myriad of doors is just confusing and tiresome. The last thing to do when you are arriving late night. As she was staying in the property and watching my every move with messages on whatsapp it was like being in a reality show or Squid Game. There are CCTV all over. Lots of gadgets and contraptions that make it hard to figure out whether you should touch something or not. And if you do, finsing out what it does or how to stop it is another issue. There is a huge living room but no access to kitchen. You cannot even eat anything in the house. But there

“A short stay, but a lovely break”
+Daniela was the most warm and friendly host I may ever have had at any accomodation I’ve ever booked! Even though I stuffed up and only had a couple of hours at the property in the end, she really went above and beyond to do all that she could for me! Thank you Daniela!

“Great host, clean rooms:)”
+Very clean and organized facilities and a very sweet host.
−There are cameras in the flat made us feel a little uncomfortable. Since one must cross them every time you wish to go to the bathroom or to eat in the living room. A little far away from the center, but there are bus station right outside the house. Additionally, no eating in the room rule was not something we enjoyed.
