10.0“Beautiful people, beautiful land, beautiful animals. We will definitely come back again.”
+It was very peaceful and beautiful
−The property itself was absolutely gorgeous. The only thing that is a challenge is the $200 per person per night park fee.

10.0“Great location, solid service, and a genuinely wild experience. Highly recommended.”
+Julia's River Camp exceeded every expectation. What sets this camp apart is its location , it's actually situated inside the Masai Mara National Reserve, next to the river. The tents were comfortable and the staff were welcoming, attentive, and clearly passionate. Between the incredible game drives, the riverside setting, and that unforgettable nighttime leopard sightings from the camp, Julia's River Camp delivered an authentic, front-row experience of the Mara. I'd recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for a camp that puts you truly inside the wilderness, not just near it.
−One area for improvement is the food , the menu selection was very limited

10.0“We are so grateful to all the staff for making our stay unforgettable.”
+We spend 3 nights at Julia’s river camp and it truly was an amazing experience. The staff are so kind, helpful and welcoming. Upon arrival we were lucky enough to get a free upgrade to the VIP camp. The tent was spacious and clean. At night you can hear the sounds of the wildlife around you, most often the hippo’s, which live right next to camp, but we have also heard hyena’s, monkeys and even lions! Since the animals can come into the park as well there is security day and night, and in the dark we got escorted by security for our protection. We felt entirely safe. The security is also very friendly and always up for conversation. The food tasted amazing every day, so flavorful and fresh. For breakfast you can order almost anything you want or request a picnic in the wild during your game drive. Lunches are three course meals and dinners are buffets. The staff were all extremely nice and attentive. On our last night all the staff including security performed a traditional song and dance to show appreciation for us staying with them. Truly a wonderful experience. Our safari guide Leo was amazing as well, such a kind spirit. The camp uses open vehicles so you have an unobstructed vi

10.0“Great location with welcoming staff.”
+Great location, we could watch hippos, crocodiles and baboons from the terrace of our tent. The staff were very welcoming, especially Ben and Jimmy made the children feel welcome and safe. Game drives with guide Lewis and driver Eric were amazing, they answered all our questions and were patient with the kids as well as showing us everything we asked for.

10.0“Julia's has that real, isolated safari camp experience with an incredible safari.”
+We had 2 breakfasts out on our game drives and 2 in camp. All were amazing. On the game drives we had pancakes, french toast, maple syrup, bacon, sausage, hard boiled eggs,, fruit, yoghurt, tea, coffee and juice all served up on the bonnet of our vehicle. We had the same in camp with the addition of cereal and a choice of eggs. Really filling and delicious.
−Nothing. Everyone and everything was wonderful.

8.0+The staff at Julia's are super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Everything was arranged super smoothly and the team was very helpful also in advance to help us prepare our stay. It's a great location with good rooms/tents. We liked how quiet and low-key it is - and the local connection.
−The logistics of safari are complicated, we appreciate that - but somehow the food didn't feel commensurate with the price paid.
