“Traditional guesthouse with the warmest atmosphere”
+Wonderful guesthouse and warm reception! They are just so lovely and helpful. The roof top is amazing for gazing at the skies, the rooms are spacious for Japanese standards. Free parking at the accommodation.
−It’s not a real downside of the guesthouse - but busses run very irregularly. So be prepared when booking this! Either organise a car or just embrace the slow travel!

+The host was so kind. When my partner got sick, she offered lots of help. Breakfast was amazing everyday. I also really like that the hotel is very clean, and the atmosphere is very welcoming with lots of hand written/made items.

+This place was incredible I loved how peaceful and quiet it was but also very close to everything as well. The lady that cooks for you every day really tries to connect and create conversation and has some really good recommendations. I'm very grateful for this and it feels like a warm and welcome place

“Super quiet hotel, clean rooms, good breakfast, located in a very sleepy town.”
+The host made very tasty breakfasts that were quite hearty and varied. One morning we had salmon, rice, miso soup, and fruit and the next morning we had scrambled eggs, bread, yogurt, fruit. There was also coffee and green tea available. The coffee shop right next door has a great lunch and there is a sushi restaurant that is also around the corner (make a reservation!). I also highly recommend the ladies selling pineapple plushies at the Painu food truck. The rooms were very clean and quiet at night.
−The little town of Kabira is a very sleepy town with only a few restaurants. It was recommended that we make reservations, especially on Sunday, when even fewer restaurants were open. As I do not speak Japanese, I asked the host to help me make a reservation at one of the few nearby restaurants. She said she couldn't (through Google translate), because the restaurant wouldn't take reservations made by a 3rd party - which made absolutely no sense to me. She told me to walk to the restaurant and "speak" to them myself. The restaurant was quite rude and told me that they weren't able to seat me and my friends - even though they were more than half empty at 5:45pm. So make preparations ahead of time for restaurants. Also, I would recommend getting a car in Ishigaki. Kabira is kind of in the middle of nowhere. Buses and taxis are very infrequent so you're kind of stuck there. Also the convenience shop have very irregular opening days and hours. I would buy snacks from the bigger cities or bring from home as it's pretty hard to find snacks to eat, after 6pm.

+Cute and clean. The breakfast was great and the room was very comfortable.
−Be aware the area is very quiet and highly recommend getting reservations for dinner prior to needing one. Do not expect to just arrive and be seated.

“Lovely little place to stay in the centre of Kabira”
+川平湾まで数分で歩けますし室内は驚くほど清潔でモダン。そして必要なものは全て揃っています。スタッフの方もとても元気でフレンドリー。お世話になりました！ モリシャス料理のLe Do Do そして新鮮なお刺身の食べれるほぬほぬ食堂は宿やから徒歩4分ほどでオススメです。

+Sono tornata in questa struttura per la seconda volta perché già la prima mi ero trovata benissimo! La proprietaria é di una dolcezza unica, la stanza é ampia e comoda, la location praticissima per esplorare Kabira e dintorni. Tornerò sicuramente!
