“Don’t book it- not worth it for the money”
+Not great at all - very outdated bathroom and no maintenance at all. It’s a scam
−Staffs are not professional enough. Not worth for the money. Property not renovated for long

“Peaceful location and superb staff.”
+Excellent location for relaxation and peace on the beach watching the fisherman go about their daily life. The sea view room was excellent, very spacious. All the staff were superb, especially in the restaurant. Every requested was handled quickly and with a smile. We will come back again.

“Not awful but not worth what we paid. My girlfriend wasn’t happy with the bug sotuation nor the cockroach situation.”
+It was a decent location and quite a nice pool area.
−The main issue was that we had to ask to move from our initial room for two reasons - there were small bugs everywhere (in the bathroom, bed, getting into our clothing bags) and also a wedding reception going on right outside our room (interesting to watch but not ideal once we wanted to sleep). Also when we changed to the second room we found 3 cockroaches on separate occasions

+Bad staff
−Very bad service and the staff is trying to spam guests with extra airport transfers and also tours around. They offer higher prices and scaming. Hotel top management this is for your attention

“Nice beds, but the bad location and noise made this a costly mistake”
+On first impressions the resort appeared lovely. It is located in a heavy commercial area surrounded by local business traffic, city noise, and dust, however the drive leading into the resort is long and when you get to the end you are presented with a well-manicured lawn, a line of quaint wood cabanas and beyond those the sea. The AC was good, the bed comfortable and we loved having quality linen, lots of storage space and a fridge.
−It turned out the cabana was poorly maintained, the plastic roof was faulty and banging all night in the wind, we didn’t sleep, the shower was a mere drip, the windows in the bathroom would not close. We might have tolerated the rundown cabana if the location was good. The beach was covered in fishing boats and fishing nets in the sea meant you had to walk further down to get in. Admittedly I should have checked the location before I booked, I was under the impression it was a very short walk to Upavelli strip, but the walk there was tedious and a lack of pavements meant you were walking through heavy traffic. So we stayed one night and abandoned the accommodation as there was nothing to do at the location and the beach was disappointing. We asked for a refund for the remaining days but our request was ignored, so JKAB was a very expensive mistake on our part.

“Disappointing stay”
+Close to the beach with a sea view. Pool was fine. Comfortable bed.
−Stayed in cabana rooms. Shower door and bathroom window were both broken. Very loud due to excessive amounts of crows on the property. Breakfast was varied however a large amount had flies on it restricting options. Washing services were disappointing with a cost per item rather than the usual cost per kg - unhelpful staff meant we had to sort out our dirty laundry in the reception. Given inflated costs compared to other options, we were expecting a more luxury experience and were left disappointed. Has great potential but needs improvement.
