“Simple and rustic place but clean and convenient”
+Location (close to bus stop/temple and short walk to start of Jiufen street) Excellent views from outside covered/common area Caretaker was sweet and attentive Room had a shoe dryer - useful as it was heavy rains all day
−Breakfast option limited No hand soap at the basin (need to take shower soap from shower area) Dangerous flight of steps down as soon as you step into the common room to access your own room - need to watch out as fall risk

“Wonderful and relax stay!”
+The view is fantastic. The location is very strategic just a walking distance to the old street, so the room is very quiet. The host is very friendly and helpful. He always gives nice suggestion to us in planning our trip.

“Spacious stay with great views near Jiufen Old Street”
+The hotel is located right next to Jiufen Old Street, making it an excellent base for exploring Jiufen, its surroundings, and even Keelung. The property offers very nice views, with several observation decks around the house. The room was very spacious and well suited for short stays, with entertainment options such as karaoke. Staying off-season meant a quieter atmosphere overall. The staff was very helpful.
−The WiFi was very weak, unstable and did not cover the whole area of the apartment. The observation decks are open to all guests/public, and people can walk close to the apartment’s French doors and windows, which at times reduced the sense of privacy. The room lacked storage such as closets, which was inconvenient for a multi-night stay. Some of the equipment and furnishings appeared a bit worn.

“Great place to stay for families. Located very close to old street and has a spectacular view.”
+Great location to the old street. The view from the accommodation is also great. We only spent a night but it’s a great self contained space for a family or even two.
−No full sized towels but there were some small ones that sufficed. Otherwise perfect.
