10.0+Breakfast is excellent and room is cozy. It's just like to be home. The great hospitality of staffs (Mr. Cozhnus and his wife Mrs. Ilin) made me feel at home as well as being truly welcome. Also, the location of the hostel is ideal to appreciate mountain view and to experience Tanzanian local life. Please do not miss the great view of Mt. Kilimanjaro from a flat ground only 5 minutes away by walking from the hostel, and home-made Chagga's traditional liquor at tiny local pubs in nearby neighbor(ask Mr. Cozhnus). Apart from all those good things of this hostel, I was happy to have meaningful conversation with the owner, Mr. Cozhnus, with wide range of topics from his people "Chagga", Tanzania and African society to global issue and general human world. Also, his great knowledge, good doings and commitment to his community highly inspired me. If you have any question about anything including local culture, community issue, volunteering, simply ask him. He will guide you to a big inspiration.

10.0+We stayed at Janibichi hostel for 3 nights during which we did the hike to Mt. Meru and a 5 day safari. Cosmas arranged a pick up and drop off from Kilimanjaro airport and everything worked smoothly. The hostel offers different activities and tours at a very reasonable price and by booking a tour with them you also help support a good cause through Zion Gates foundation. The hostel is located in a quiet area in Moshi and you need a car to get to the city but thankfully Cosmas offered to give us a ride. I would recommend this hostel, especially if you're planning on doing tours in Tanzania and need a base to leave your luggage at. Thank you for the wonderful experience Cosmas.

8.0“Mix of fun, experience and charity”
+I stayed 2 nights at Janibichi Hostel. I went during lowest season so I was the only one in the place, but in this way I had closer interaction with the owner Cosmas. He is really kind and available for whatever necessity or curiosity you would have. I have done the activities through them, which have a competitive price compared to other vendors. In addition, the hostel is connected with local NGOs and organizations, so staying here have a positive impact also on the territory and local communities.
−The hostel is a bit in the outskirt.

6.0+Good location, comfortable beds, yummy breakfast.
−Security measures could be improved, staff were a bit difficult to reach when we needed them. Would not recommend staying here if you have a vehicle.

7.0+The breakfast was good, and Cosmas was very helpful throughout the stay
−The bathroom and toilet situation was not pleasant at all, being a shared space. They should do a better job at maintaining them to make the stay more comfortable
