10.0“Authentic Jaipur bed and breakfast boutiqu hotel”
+Awesome authentic historic boutique hotel. WhatsApp staff when you book your prepaid taxi and they wool meet you at LMB hotel to walk you to the off Main Street location that is quiet and safe. Nice breakfast and option to buy a dinner at nite. Cool roof deck you can buy a beer from staff. More compact rooms but has AC . House has been in the same gently for hundreds of years !
−Back alley side streets takes a day to get used to but well worth it !

9.0+Beautiful heritage home close to major sights in jaipur, wonderful owners on site
−A very short 5 minute walk through narrrow lanes to reach this beautiful haveli might overwhelm new visitors to india. It is in a densely crowded market.

9.0“Characterful and hospitable”
+Lots of character. Vikram and his father were great hosts, interesting people and conversationalists, who offered advice for both Jaipur and the rest of my visit to India. It was nice to stay in a true family home, whilst still having your own space. The food was fresh, tasty and generous. Very well located.
−One minor irritation - and it wouldn’t affect me staying again but is worth highlighting as feedback - was that a rickshaw driver was allowed to sit inside the Haveli waiting for me each morning on the assumption I would go with him for the day. It was unexpected and uncomfortable, especially as they reacted with significant disappointment when I declined and pursued me out into the street trying to persuade. Don’t get me wrong, this will happen everywhere in Jaipur, but it shouldn’t be within the safety of “home” in my view. I’m sure the intention of offering safe drivers is good but the approach left me feeling uneasy.

8.0+It is a very well preserved heritage property in the heart of Jaipur. It is not luxury but a very good experience of a traditional Jaipur home. The host is very cordial and the food is delicious.
−Electricity was a bit of an issue, but thats a circumstantial problem, noone can be held responsible for it.

8.0+Beautiful building, lovely family operating it, helpful staff. Modest but sufficient breakfast. Nice small garden in-front of the house. Fell sick in Jaipur and the owners were very nice, offered medicine and even discounted the meals bc we ate so little due to low appetite. Room decorated nicely.
−Jaipur overall is quite dirty and rats are very common. Unfortunately the narrow streets leading to the Haveli were not different… cow poop, dog poop, rats scrambling in the thrash is not a pleasant walk back :( Also the windows in rooms don’t have glass on them, they close with the wooden blinds. I understand this is to preserve the traditional esthetic however as windows or door dont seal perfectly, theres a chance something can make its way in.

10.0“A Hidden Gem in the Old City”
+The staff is ready to assist with any needs you have. The Internet is very fast and consistent The meals are what the family eats. To ensure quality not only is the food made on site but the ingredients such as the paneer and flour are prepared in the home. The haveli is located in the gem district of the historic center. You have a 15 to 20 minutes walk to many major sites. Tuk tuks are available for a short ride to more distant locations. In short, a lovely historical building with excellent local vegetarian meals, comfortable lodging, good internet and an excellent staff who are ready to help you explore Jaipur. I enjoyed my stay.
−This is not a negative for me, but do remember you are in the heart of a historic center in the ancient city of Jaipur. When you leave the grounds of the haveli you will be walking through narrow streets with cattle, dogs and many people living their lives. Watch where you step, life can be messy.

10.0“Beautiful Haveli”
+Well maintained family-run historic Haveli, in the heart of the Jaipur old town. We had the beautiful room on the rooftop, spotless clean and tastefully decorated. Everything just worked fine, esp the modern conventions such as shower, aircon and internet. All the meals, incl. Breakfast, are home cooked and tasty. 2 out of 3 nights we had the dinner at this place (theres beer!). Being in the old town means, the streets and the surrounding areas can be messy and direct access with a normal car is not possible (if you have been to India, you know what I mean). The host already informed this to me prior to arrival and arranged a tuktuk to pick up us and the suitcases. All in all, we will definitely come back here when we will be Jaipur again.

10.0“Feel like a local”
+It is really authentic and feel like a local type of stay. The place looks like the villa from the past. Beautifully decorated with the little tiny doors and little tiny staircases. You can go all the way up to the roof to read the book or watch sunrise. This stuff is very helpful. If you want to feel that you live in Jaipur, I really recommend this stay. If you’re looking for luxury and relaxation, this is not a place. I spent half a day with Raja a tuktuk driver. He is an awesome man. He drove me around and explain about many different things. I really enjoy the time I spend with him.
−Of course they are going to try to take you to stores with jewellery or with textile where you are going to get a tourist price. But this is okay just part of travelling.
