“No heat and 60+ steps to the 3rd floor - Confirmation is not transparent, plus dirty carpet”
+Excellent location.
−Booking.com and the hotel must be transparent that there is no heat till some undisclosed time. I arrived and the room was too cold to take off my coat. I was tired and cold from a day of travel. I texted via the booking.com app but there was no response. Turned on the radiator, waited, but no heat. The carpet was dirty, I was not comfortable walking around in my socks. There were over 60 steps to the room on the 3rd floor - please tell guests and be honest. We should be entitled to cancel with a full refund with the very misleading confirmation which lists nothing about 60+ steps and nothing about being without heat part of the day. Also, there was a small bar top table with 2 stools - I could not work there for very long. There is also no chair or desk in the room.

+Nice big room. Bed was comfy. Location good.
−Room was on second floor, so 44 stairs up. Okay if you are a young fit person but not an elderly one. There was secondary glazing but it was not soundproof. Lot of street noise from people leaving pubs at closing time.

+Comfortable bed, very clean and tidy room, very close to railway station
−Noisy nightlife outside until 0100, several bin lorries early in the morning as well as street sweeping. Basically the location is above City nightlife

+Central location, close to the train station, pubs, restaurants and shops.
−Very noisy (pub across the street) location due to being in town on a Main Street.

“We liked the place, we didn’t like the forgotten trash(cleaning company guilty) .”
+Central location, comfortable bed good temperature control.
−As we said before we found trash with hair still in the bathroom and we had to clean it . we reported it to the owners which they agreed to give us a discount of 30 pounds if we let Booking.com know . We did that several times, but we still haven’t received an answer from Booking.com still waiting for the credit.

+Central location, close to the station, great communal kitchen and lounge facilites.
−Access code information to room was inadequate - the hash at the end was missing. I phoned the number and the phone in the entrance hall rang. There was nobody to help if I couldnt get ibn. Luckily I started adding a few things on the end of the 4 digit code and one worked.

“Perfect for Inverness!!”
+Jacobite House was in the exact middle of everything we wanted to see in Inverness and then only a short walk to the bus stops/station to take us elsewhere.
−Nothing really, just that our room was on the 3rd floor (for American purposes) but even that wasn’t awful.

+The room was clean and cozy, the kitchen for the whole floor gave some extra space.
−The location is in the middle of the town. So if you are prone to be a light sleeper, you are not well advised here.
