“Cancelled on us at check in. Did not refund us immediately.”

−We arrived at Inspire Hotel, which also operates a hostel, at check-in time only for the receptionist to say that our room (and others) had been flooded the day before. He claimed that the manager had contacted everyone via Whatsapp and when I said I did not have Whatsapp, he said the manager couldn't contact me and other international guests, but French guests had been contacted. I didn't bother saying that booking.com had a chat function and that I had an existing conversation with Inspire Hotel, why didn't they contact me through that avenue? We took a costly taxi from central Paris to this hotel only to be rejected the moment we got there. The receptionist claimed that the manager would fully refund my two nights there but that was a blatant lie. I had to contact booking.com customer services two days later as Inspire Hotel had not only NOT refunded me, but they also had not CANCELLED the booking. So I suspect they thought they could get away with it because if I cancelled it on my side, I would not get a refund as the free cancellation date had ceased. It was a gruelling cancellation process, which could have and SHOULD HAVE easily been recified on Inspire Hotel's side.

“Perfect stay at Crimée”
+I liked the location, very well connected even though the neighbour is not so bright; but everybody in the shops around are very gentle, we were in the hotel part not the hostel and we were furnished with towels every time we asked for it, I would suggest to add more hair dryer around the hotel. They will contact you from the reception since the time you book and they will help you with everything. Very good communication
−Unfortunately the place wasn’t very clean, we found dirty cups and glasses and they never being changed, the towels had a few hair inside, the pillows too.

−The fact that the front office was closed till 1 pm Our room was pretty small; same thing for toilet and shower unit I wanted to take a shower but got no hot water I requested a bottom bunk when I booked but could not get one. At age 66, I don't know how I managed to come down from the top bunk, and I eventually hurt my hip The cleanliness was spotty: I found someone's hair on my blanket (even though the sheets were clean)

“Rapport qualité prix correct mais hygiène et sécurité à revoir”
+Emplacement parfait à deux pas du métro, des quais de l'Oise et du Parc de la Villette. Accueil 24/24 très pratique pour les arrivées tardives, hôtel sécurisé avec digicode et accès aux étages contrôlé. Les casiers dans les dortoirs sont grands et sécurisés par code, pas besoin de cadenas. Lits avec rideaux qui permettent d'avoir de l'intimité dans les dortoirs.
−La cuisine est en réalité une kitchenette / tisanerie, seulement un micro-ondes pour réchauffer, pas de plaque de cuisson. Les portes des couloirs et de l'accès au sous-sol étaient constamment maintenues ouvertes, pas conforme d'un point de vue incendie. La salle de bains du dortoir présentait des moisissures au plafond, avec les odeurs qui vont avec, la ventilation était clairement insuffisantes car l'établissement semble récent. Ma lampe de chevet ne fonctionnait pas. Dortoir pour 4 femmes petit, on peut difficilement être à deux en train de faire sa valise. Literie un peu trop "molle" à mon goût.

−Si vede che l'hotel è stato rinnovato di recente. Ho avuto da subito problemi con il riscaldamento. Segnalato più volte in reception, all'assistenza senza risolvere nulla. 3 notti al gelo. Era più caldo il corridoio che dava sulla scala della stanza in cui alloggiavo. In bagno c'era un buco nel soffitto che faceva vedere il tetto. Segnalato pure quello ma niente, nessuna soluzione
