“peaceful and tranquil.”
+overall location, scenery and comfort of the rooms. love the courtyard and the live music Our room’s TV didn’t work so the in keeper at the time ( Lisa or Laura i believe) upgraded our room. she was so nice and helpful.
−Everything was good.

“Would stay there again not on a Monday. and now we know where the lobby is, there is hot breakfast!”
+The setting was lovely, and the courtyard beautiful, good place to have our little dog with us.
−Communication here left a lot to be desired, and not welcoming. Upon arrival, there was no signage to indicate where the lobby was, or where to check in and get keys. Breakfast was so so, coffee was cold and selections were weird, i.e. the yogurt was pre-portioned in small bowls and there were eggs and bacon but you didn't know that until your plate was full and then the server asked if you wanted eggs and bacon. Plus, we arrived on a Monday night, and all of the restaurants in the small town were closed, which meant we had to drive 20 minutes to find a place to eat.

+Location, great base to explore the Sonoma coast and wine country
−The breakfast wasn’t very interesting, not bad but just run of the mill pancakes and eggs

“Best place to stay in Northern California redwoods”
+My wife and I spent two nights here in April 2026. We needed a quiet place in a beautiful location. This place is perfect. As a retired teacher, still working as a sub, I needed a place that was quiet, peaceful and friendly. This is it. They won an award, Best Sonoma County Lodging Property of the Year. In my book, they earned it. We will be back.

“It is a quiet get away, friendly staff, clean and warm hospitality.”
+The staff was friendly and kind. Convenient location to local restaurants.
−Check to see if there is music playing in the neighborhood that might affect parking or ambience of the place.

“So relaxing and welcoming!”
+I can’t say enough good stuff about this Inn. The room and grounds are beautiful. The staff, especially the owners are so warm and welcoming! The setting is in the forest of a small town, that is 20 minutes from the ocean and 20 minutes from the river. It’s surrounded by vineyards and green rolling hills. It’s so quiet here. The breakfast is delicious and the portions are very generous. This was our first stay and we are looking forward to coming back often!

“Beautiful flower covered location in the spring”
+Great location with amazing patio covered in wisteria and other flowers. Breakfast offerings were simple but you could get eggs cooked fresh.
−Bed was a little hard and shower may be slippery for older people.
