“A very comfortable stay in a fantastic location.”
+The bed was the most comfortable I have slept in and the room was very quiet. The location was within walking distant to the beautiful beach and to shops and restaurants with nearby bus stops for further travel
−It was a little run down in places, but very clean. I had problems with some of the lights going off, but didnt bother reporting it as it was late and then they came back on later, anyway

“Good convenient spot close by to Scarborough beach central area.”
+Good location for other activities we were doing. Comfy room with balcony & fresh air on other side of building to band venue with loud music. Easy going reception with all requests attended to happily.
−No shelf in bathroom for toiletries. Retro building with some dated fixtures.

“Very dissatisfied”
+The location
−There was a terrible musty smell. It looks like it hasn’t been renovated since the 60’s. The music from the bar could be heard throughout the hotel.

“Average”
+Location and parking good.
−Rooms especially bathrooms were tired and small compared to avaliable space in unit. Would have rared as a 2 star in Europe. No hair dryer and shower leaked into space in front of toilet. Also lights cut out. Lighting overall poor. Sadly seen better days. Tol

“Appreciated the clean room.”
+The room was old style, but cleaned very well. No aromas or odours …Thank you. I have allergy to perfumes and the room was cleaned well. Thank you !!
−The noise from adjoining rooms. Room walls seem paper thin and voices and general movement could be heard and disturbed when trying to sleep.
