“Great stay”
+Great location, room was spacious and pretty clean. There was little bit of dustbin some areas but nothing major. Overall very good, a/c was cold and beds very comfortable. Service at front desk was top notch.

“Go somewhere else”
+They us key cards that didn’t work to a room that people were in. We went to desk and they said they were working on it for 45 min and were very dismissive and ignored us. They were fully booked allegedly.

“Meh”
+Stayed here for 2 nights before a cruise. We were taking a Virgin cruise & it sails from the Panamerican port -- not downtown. It's about 20 - 25 minutes via Uber. There's really nothing around this hotel other than the Casino next door. Staff is friendly; that's the most positive thing I can say about my stay. The room (514) was very dark -- not enough lights. No outlets readily accessible for the desk area. No usb connections. They keep the hotel very cold. After room was serviced, the room temp was reset to 65f. Breakfast was free but nothing to shout about; mediocre at best. Bed was comfortable. Cleanliness questionable. Would not stay here again. Only stayed as it was cheap on points (8K per night).

“Happy place =”
+Happy place = morning before boarding very first Grand Princess cruise + hotel free breakfast buffet + outdoor seating area solo + actual hot sunshine (not northern cold sun with 7° temperatures‼️) 🥰 Hyatt Place Bayamon - highly recommend 👍🏽, at Hyatt Place Bayamón.

“expensive”
+this is not really Hyatt,it's not good and very expensive, limited and same breakfast and not many options to chose from, not even simple items like muffins or pastries, just eggs and frozen pancakes.

“I recommend this Hotel for pre crusing.”
+There is a restaurant next door if you dont want to venture out. Next to that is a small casino. Going to the port, an Uber driver is short but not walkable.

“Work Culture and Room-Specific Maintenance Concern (Room 715)”
+This feedback is specific to Room 715. There is a clear and ongoing issue with the room door that I am confident the hotel is already aware of but has not addressed. The door does not close on its own and must be physically wrestled both to open and shut. It drags against the frame, creating excessive resistance and loud, disruptive noise each time it is used. This goes beyond normal wear and tear and is more than a minor inconvenience. Either the door needs to be properly adjusted on the frame or shaved slightly (approximately 1/16 inch) so it can open and close smoothly as expected. More concerning is what this reflects about internal processes. Housekeeping and other frontline staff interact with this door multiple times daily and should feel empowered, and supported,to report obvious maintenance issues with confidence that they will be addressed. As a guest, I should not have to struggle with a malfunctioning door or be the one to flag a problem that is so apparent. This is both a maintenance and a work-culture issue, and addressing it would immediately improve the guest experience in that room. Additionally, the room had a strong odor resembling cat urine. We had to leave the a
