“Great host! Felt safe and very welcoming”
+The host of the property Ahmad and his staff are main highlights for this one, he helped me in every way possible. I travelled solo so he helped to arrange tours, walking me to the nearest markets, guide which is worthy and even booking transport and avoiding paying extra money to uber which is common in here I believe. I believe even the rooms for this price was average that is the case in Egypt but having helpful staff surplus all the things. Felt self during my time here. Worth staying here!
−Since it was dry period I believe it was not up the standards in cleanliness but that was negligible!

“Perfect location for my visit and great value for money”
+The big plus for the Hur Pyramid Inn is the location and great value for money. The Inn is only a 15 minute walk to the entrance to the Pyramids and you get a lovely view of them from the very attractive rooftop terrace where breakfast is served and is available to guests at all times.
−Only breakfast is served by the hotel - any other meals they provide come in as "takeaways" and are not that great. But there are plenty of restaurants close by. Although a TV in every bedroom apart from BBC News there were no English channels

“Stay in Cairo, not Giza - uber in and out of Giza for pyramids”
+Could have been nice if paid room was actually available to us
−They take your money (booked 3 person room 1 month in advance) then give the room away to someone else which you discover when checking in. We were encouraged to be taken to another guest house instead but we declined and got a full refund through booking.com which was annoying. Another guest turned up during this ordeal who had exactly the same problem as us. Most of the Giza guest houses are doing this to avoid paying booking.com fees. My biggest tip for Egypt is stay in old town Cairo and get a super cheap uber to the pyramids. Cairo is amazing, everybody generous, no one hassles you, unlike Giza city

+The accommodation is clean and simple, with a friendly host. The air conditioning is cold enough, though water pressure on the higher floors is a bit weak. Breakfast is plentiful, and the overall value is excellent. A very good stay!
−No elevator, so you need to use stairs for 3 floors. It can be a bit inconvenient if you have large luggage.

+Das Personal ist freundlich. Das Zimmer hatte weder einen Balkon noch einen Blick auf die Pyramiden, war dafür aber sauber. Von der Terrasse des Hotels aus hat man jedoch eine schöne Aussicht.

+We really loved our stay at Hur Pyramids Inn. The staff was really kind and helpful even though we arrived 4 hours late at night because our flight was delayed. The room was chilly at first (in February) but there was a really good heater in the room that fixed the problem. Would definitely come again! :)
