“Perfect in every way”
+Everything! The Nicky & John are wonderful people, very personable, excellent hosts. The room was superb, comfy, beds, great power shower, spotlessly clean. The breakfast was perfect good quality produce, cooked perfectly, not greasy & plenty of it, John even cooked a sausage for the dog ready when we arrived at the table. We will definitely return.

+It was clean, comfortable and relaxed. The lodges are easily accessible from the car park so you can come and go as you please with no need to access the pub itself

“Outstanding!! A must if you are visiting North Devon 10/10”
+OUTSTANDING!! We have just returned from a 3 night stay and we have booked again to go in a few weeks to take my parents as it was so great. The hosts, Nicky and John could not have done more for us, they went above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable. The apartment was spotless and very well finished and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The shower is so powerful and really refreshing, a perfect way to start the day. The perfect start to the day continues when you have the full English breakfast, cooked to perfection and made to your choice, I was shocked when I found out that is all included in the price. The menu for the evening meals has many choices and the ones we chose were great. To make the stay even better, there is a Sunday carvery with excellent choice of meats and veg that was just the cherry on the cake for our stay. The Banoffi pie for dessert was also lovely. We have a dog who is not the most well behaved when other dogs are in the room and Nicky went to a lot of trouble to seat us away from the other dogs. I cannot speak highly enough of this property and hosts. We have stayed in places before from Booking.com that are rated over 9 but they did not c

+Lovely traditional pub. Very attentive and friendly staff. LandLady/Owner is brilliant. Nothing too much trouble. Excellent home cooked food, and plenty of it (husband/co-owner) is Chef. Breakfast was extremely good with seconds/double up offered FOC

“Relaxing overnight dog-friendly stay in immaculately clean room (bigger than average)”
+It was perfect to accommodate dogs. Great sized immaculate room. Pub meals (right next door) were really handy and tasty. Breakfast was excellent. Owner was very accommodating and super friendly. Everything was perfect- will definitely use again and such a convenient location for North Devon. An extremely positive experience- thank you!
