+The location is in the center of Hilo, very close to the beach. The staff are all very friendly. Askar guided us to park late at night , thank you so much Askar! (I hope I didn't misspell his name).

“Overpriced for the quality”
+I love the location and it is easy to park. The neighborhood is vibrant. I also like the daily events held at the venue: It gives an idea about where to explore Hilo. I cannot think of a third thing about what I liked...
−I think that many of the lower-score critiques are true. The fact that it has 8.5 score feels like a scam to me after having stayed there for a few nights. The staff feels low energy, the restroom is not clean, and the room is noisy at night (which is not something that they have control of, because it's located on the main street. Cars and motor bikes are loud.) Of course, all of these complaints may be attributed to the weather, because almost all days were raining when I stayed. But with the same price, I'd rather choose a simpler hotel.

+Located in the historical building in the centre of the town; many restaurants and shops around, bus terminal is a short walk. Free pancakes for breakfast, starting at 6:30 which is very convenient :) Everything is clean. Huge common area. Beds have curtains, mattresses are very comfy.
−The “second floor” of the bed is located really high, you have to be brave to climb😅 Hostel is huge, so can be noisy, depends on guests’ responsibility.

“Passer votre chemin”
