“Good location”
+The location was excellent and quite. Room not large but this is Europe. Frederick was very pleasant and welcoming. It suited our needs for the price we paid.

“Lovely stay”
+It was fun to stay on a houseboat. The location is very good, within easy walking distance of Jordaan and Amsterdam Centraal station but in a quieter spot. There is a nearby grocery store and lots of cafes and bars. It is small as you would expect with a houseboat, but has everything you need and we were very comfortable.

“Quirky, different with everything we needed except adequate air con for a heatwave”
+Great location and a different experience than just staying in a hotel
−We were there during a heatwave. The small portable air conditioner was totally inadequate to cope with heat and the sealing of windows and protection from sun needed to be improved. Access into the accommodation was precipitous but overall we enjoyed our stay.

“Relaxing stay on this wonderful houseboat”
+The houseboat was lovely, and Freddy was a great host from before we got to Amsterdam to the moment we left. We absolutely loved being so close to the Jordaan district and Amsterdam Centraal station and made the most of this. The houseboat was more spacious than we expected, and included plenty of handy amenities like cups, plates, microwaves and multiple power outlets.
−The bathroom was perhaps a tad small, but had everything we needed. The dutch toilet was "interesting" to get used to, but worked perfectly otherwise.

+Great location, so easy to walk everywhere, grocery store, all of the city even the train and bus station.

“Logement calme et bien situé”
+Petit logement très bien placé pour visiter les quartiers touristiques à pieds. Sur l'eau, sans voisin, c'est très calme, ce qui est très appréciable en centre-ville. C'est petit mais globalement pratique et bien équipé.
−Ménage fait en surface mais pas en profondeur, la poussière sous le lit peut poser souci pour des personnes souffrant d'allergie.
