+The hotel was perfect. The location was close to attractions. The room was modern, and the bed was comfortable. The Sky Vue was amazing with a great view.

“Don’t bother”
+The VUE bar was good
−Rooms are not that good, the alarm in my room went off at 5am spoiling out stay. The housekeeping didn’t replenish sugar. The hotel isn’t 5 star.

“Only stay at this hotel if location is the most important thing to you.”
+The location was nice
−The rooms are very small and the beds are very small. It really was not worth the amount of money I spent on this hotel.

“The rooms are not large enough for a family of 4. The focus is on aesthetic not comfort & usability.”
+the restaurant, location and service were good.
−When searching for hotels it was listed as family friendly. The rooms were maybe big enough for 1 person. We could only open 1 suitcase at a time. There were 2 adults and 2 kids. The sink was small in diameter (miniature). There was very little space to put your things like makeup or a curling iron. It should not be listed as family friendly. I did ask for a bigger room and it would have increased to price by $75 per night and there wasn't one available. I thought I was booking the larger room, but it is hard to tell on the booking.com website.

+The VUE was incredible and so nice in the evening for sunset the night we arrived. The staff, as soon as you walk into Hotel Washington, they're so incredibly helpful, professional, considerate and just wonderful. We drive into the district and parked at another garage and the staff was so patient with us while we got our car from there and to there and really took care of us. The hotel is in the best spot for monuments, restaurants to walk to, meetings, just everything. It's on the corner of a couple incredible streets and we walked to dinner every night. 2 minute walk from Old Ebbitt and cheesecake factory and lots of coffee options and we walked to district taco for breakfast. Two options for the Metro. One is a couple doors down and the other on a walk towards Ford's theatre... Which was about a 12 minute walk door to door. And... your neighbors with the Treasury building and white house.
