“Unsafe location, dingy hotel. Staff were nice though.”
+It was cheap. (Except my bikes got stolen, so it ended up being very expensive)
−Very sketchy area of town. The homeless camp is 2 blocks away. I had 4 expensive downhill bikes stolen off my car rack in the middle of the night. Clipped the lock. The room was dingy. Hotel shares a building with the liquor store, so there is a lot of late-night traffic in the area. Definitely not a place to stay with your kids, and definitely don’t leave any valuables in your car.

“Unpleasant”
+Couldn’t stay. Our reservation was canceled at the last minute
−We were late arrival, then we called reception to communicate new arrival time and receptionist stated that will be no one at the property around 11pm. She send us a code for the key box and another code for the front door. She said everything was ok. When we got there key box was empty. We again message her and she said she couldn’t leave the key because we haven’t paid the yet. It was never mentioned that before, and she did nothing to help us in that situation. It never occurs to us because we give our credit card information when we book the room… anyway, we ended up leaving and driving straight extra 2 hours to find another place to stay. Terrible service

“Never again”

−It’s old and dirty. The floor was so sticky we kept our shoes on. The tile in the bathroom could use a good scrub as well as the baseboards. Blankets are threadbare, we didn’t use. They have guest laundry which we needed but hotel staff was using well into the night. That’s all we heard the dryer running. No fan in a bathroom????

+- great location close to the tourist place where the bus stops - Manager refunded me for 1 of 2 nights. I paid for 2, but lousy weather so I checked out early. I called her once home and she processed the refund. Thanks !

“Never Again.”
+The best thing about the experience was when we left.
−First, this hotel needs to be put out of its misery. Yes, it’s an historic building. But it’s run down to the point that it shouldn’t be housing anyone. The smell is the first thing that hits you when you enter (it gets worse when you get to your room). I saw the kid that checked us in briefly for 15 seconds and then never again. There’s a weird spiral staircase to get to the next floor. Upstairs in the hallway, there is a random fan, random chairs and a microwave. Weird. A hallway microwave. There was a gap in the door to my room. One of the lamps did not work. The room smelled awful. And the bathroom was disgusting. There were rings in the toilet from not being cleaned and a pretty sketchy tub. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows were flat. I couldn’t find another hotel, so we slept on top of the covers and left as early as we could. Never again.

−只有入住时候看到前台工作人员，其他时刻皆无服务人员。用微波炉时，电跳闸了。找了好久都没有人。基本上都是自助旅店。而且给我安排到了一楼最靠近楼梯等位置。没有电梯，行李箱只能抬上楼。

+It is located in the centre of Squamish, it has parking. Also it is very comfortable and we did not hear any noise from the restaurant below.
−The installations are little bit old, but bed is comfortable and everything works fine.
