10.0“Amazing!!”
+I stayed here for our trip to maiori, it was amazing! The staff were lovely and attentive, the room was beautiful and the hotel itself was very close to the beach, shopping areas and bus stops. We had the room with the Panasonic balcony, the views were beautiful. We had food and drinks here, we ordered pizzas, they were delicious. We went for cocktails on the top floor rooftop bar, they were amazing and fair priced. The view was beautiful. When we first arrived, the room was decorated beautifully with rose petals, shaped towels and a birthday candle. It was at neither of our request, just a spontaneous kind gesture (maybe as I was staying for my birthday) it was a lovely surprise to walk into. If you are staying, definitely get breakfast, it's on the rooftop bar area and the views are stunning. The breakfast selection is small but the food was also delicious, the bacon was unreal! Overall what an amazing experience, absolutely loved staying here and would definitely come back.

10.0“Fantastic, great staff, great food, lovely views and location.”
+From the moment we arrived we where greeted by a warm smile from the receptionist, once we got to our room it had been decorated with rose petals and love hearts, towels in the shape of a heart and a candle that said happy birthday, we didn't request this but it was my partner's birthday whilst we where here so they took that upon themselves to do which was a really sweet gesture. The room was lovely, very clean upon arrival and we had a balcony which an amazing view overlooking the town, mountains and the sea, so it was in the perfect location giving us a nice overview of maori. The food at the hotel was really nice aswell, we ordered 2 pizzas and they where so nice. They also have a top floor rooftop bar which overlooks the sea which was very atmospheric. Overall I would give this hotel a 10/10, all the staff where lovely and we truly felt welcomed, the price was not bad at all for our stay, I would definitely stay at this hotel again without a shadow of a doubt.

10.0“Great hotel, great service and great location”
+The hotel is simple but the rooms were clean, the service from all of the staff was great and the food in the restaurant was well priced and exceptional. Around the Amalfi coast we found a lot of touristy food but this was authentic. We had a great sea view from the balcony and the town itself was our favourite that we visited. Positano, Amalfi and Capri were just too busy, Maiori is excellent and much less crowded than the main towns. The hotel location was great, a ten minute walk along the sea front to the ferry port and you could access the rest of the towns from there. We also booked into the private beach, which although quite pricey (we paid €50 for the front row on a Saturday in July), the food was great and the sea was amazing. I genuinely have no complaints and would happily stay here again

8.0“Lovely relaxing stay”
+Booked late on and having read some reviews was a little apprehensive, however upon arrival til leaving the hotel staff were all amazing, very friendly and went out of their way daily. The room was lovely no balcony however we had large windows that opened fully to get the fab view of the sea. The rooftop bar is fantastic, open from 5 and the 2 bar staff were both amazing. Cannot fault them at all. I would recommend anyone to visit this little quaint hotel. The private beach is very shingly but the family that run the lido are great. We paid 50 euros a day for a spot right on the waterside, you reserve them daily or can reserve for the week Food in the hotel restaurant was lovely as was the beach bar, be aware the portions are big we usually shared.

10.0“Great all round hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful.”
+Location - excellent, on promenade, minutes from centre. Rooms and corridors all recently renovated, bright and clean. Value - we were half board, great value, excellent food and service. If going breakfast only, there are many options for evening meals within minutes of hotel. Cleanliness - could not have been better. Rooms on 5th and 6th floors are above most noise.

10.0“Hotel Sole, Maiori, Italy. April 2026.”
+I would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed April 13th to 20th 2026. Perfect location for everything, from easy access to public transport to be able to go anywhere, the beach is across the road, with a lovely promenade to walk along right next to it. Plenty of eaty places nearby. A Harbour within walking distance, to be able to travel by boat to other towns along the Amalfi coast. A lovely feel good town, not too big or overcrowded at this time of year. Perfect temperature too. Be prepared for steep walks if you're up to it, along the Lemon walk. Beautiful views, but can be quite tough if you're not used to that sort of exercise. The hotel was very basic, but lovely. Ask for room 47, if you're able to walk up one flight of sheepish stairs with your suitcase! The lift stops on the floor below, then we had the walk up the stairs to our room on the roof, with its own entrance! Well worth it!! A huge surround balcony, with a perfect view all round. The breakfast room on floor 6 also had a view of the town and coastline, so a perfect way to start the day. Breakfast was plentiful, help yourself buffet style. Everything that you could ask for. Hot and cold choices, which filled us up

8.0“Great Experience and a lovely stay”
+So I was a little apprehensive about staying here are seeing some of the reviews but I shouldn't have worried. Our stay from start to finish was a great experience. The hotel is located above a restaurant and residential flats on the lower floors and is the sea front is directly in front of the building. We didn't hear any noise apart from the Sunday night when Inter Milan won Serie A and the locals went a bit wild but it was all quiet by midnight! We stayed in Flat 1. It has a double bedroom, sofa bed in the living room, large shower/WC and kitchen. The room was extremely comfortable and it was great having the benefit of a big fridge and a freezer in the kitchen. The view from the large terrace was amazing and it was lovely to wake up to the sound of the waves in the morning. We stayed half board. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. The hot water for tea was cold (no no morning cuppa) as was the black coffee. Ended up getting coffee out of the machine. Not many larger cups either. They did do eggs and bacon but the eggs were scrambled and the bacon very crisp. There was a good selection of pastries and you could have cereal, fruit and yoghurts. The evening meal was a lot better al

6.0“Comfy, friendly and clean”
+A lovely, friendly hotel. Breakfast was basic, but good with enough choice (lovely crispy bacon!). My husband is coeliac and was accommodated with special bread every morning. We ate in the hotel restaurant every night and were looked after brilliantly, especially by Valentin (sorry if I have spelt it wrong). My only criticism is that there is no facility to make hot drinks in the room. I really missed my first coffee looking out over the side-sea view, that would have been perfect! The room was comfy and clean, if a little small. The view from our terrace more than made up for that. We came as part of a package and I feel we paid about right fir this holiday.

10.0“Fantastic facility with humble staff”
+I called the hotel directly and got an off-season price. Everyone of the staff were humble and available to help. The room was bigger which comes with a decent size terrace. The room was tidy. The restaurant and food prepared was amazing. Breakfast was served on the roof top directly looking at the beach. The musical and dance night on Saturday was cherry on the top. Overall, it was a lovely experience. Thank you

2.0“Hotel Sole ANNEX is disgusting, unsafe appaling H&S issues DO NOT BOOK”
+Disaster from start to finish DO NOT BOOK Hotel Sole Maiori Annex Mis-lead from booking - website description very misleading Not a hotel - not fit for purpose it is a private residential block, dirty, smashed glass, broken fittings, graffiti, screaming kids, dogs barking, lost power for the whole of one day so were in pitch darkness as shutters were electric metal security type so wouldn’t have been able to escape as they were stuck down. No fire escape instructions, No smoke alarm No fire alarm No emergency lighting No telephone line to main ‘hotel’ Due to PLANNED power outage (that they didn’t inform us about) we had no hot water for 3 days No offers to use the main hotel for showering etc Kitchen helper lady was sent to try and fix the boiler and started pulling pipes off and water went everywhere, then poking about in the electrical fuse boxes. Our balcony view was of the barking dog and the very noisy main road out of Maiori and above a bar with its 6am drink barrels delivered The main ‘hotel’ 350 yards away at the other end of the block isn’t a normal hotel either it’s another 7 story apartment block over a restaurant which they have use of the top 2 floors via a tiny lift.
