“The hotel itself is great, but this room is not as described”
+The room was clean, the staff was great
−The room claims a balcony and mountain views. The hotel has both of those, but this room doesn't. It's actually below street level. Right outside the window is the main walkway to the hotel entrance so you have to keep the curtains closed, a small, public patio (not a balcony, and public, not part of the room), and then at street level, a parking lot. The view from the window is the underside of car bumpers. It's true, if you look out the window, past the cars, across the street and between the buildings on the other side, there are glimpses of the slope up to the mountain, but it's not a mountain view. Also, the shower in the bathroom is an open stall, which is fine, but the bathroom itself didn't drain well so it left half a centimeter of standing water around the toilet
