“Didn’t stay as reataurant closed”
+The location seemed fantastic
−A difficult one- we didn’t actually stay. We had booked because it was in the mountains and had a restaurant with a good reputation. During check in we noticed that the restaurant was actually closed (on a sing at t(e desk. Therefore we decided not to stay as we didn’t fancy driving to the village to a pizzeria and not eating at the hotel would miss the point of the trip. It would have been good to know the situation before hand as we had booked some time ago but despite the booking being non - refundable the team made an exception and we were able to cancel and drive to a more suitable location. So thanks to them!

“Worth straying off the beaten track for!”
+We booked a junior suite - a huge room with an amazing balcony and view. Very pleasant and attentive staff and a lovely owner. Great pool area and immaculate grounds/gardens throughout. Superb breakfast!

“Clean and tidy but lacked basic food facilities”
+Staff friendly - no English but they made a real effort to communicate
−Restaurant closed and we were not notified. Arrived 3pm - room was ready but no facilities for late lunch or dinner - struggled to find somewhere open in nearby villages. Both at lunchtime and evening. Not a four star hotel as advertised. Pleasant stay but would not return.
