“Brilliantly located bolt hole for Amsterdam”
+Clean and excellently placed bolthole to the city. Directly opposite ronkin metro/tram stations, 5 minutes from the square and an easy walk to the flower market south or the cathedrals and cafes up north. The staff were fantastic and supportive throughout.
−Minor thing, I couldn’t open the door without it alarming. More worrisome when we left early morning but this was something our neighbours also had, so it woke us up.

+The location was great!
−It wasn’t clean (the plugs were dirty) and also it was very cold inside the rooms.

“Very average property, I won’t be returning.”
+Location was good for Rokin station. But they are very steep steps upstairs so it’s hard to carry big suitcases.
−So noisy. There was a full band underneath which was very loud. Then the property kept the hallway doors open so you could anyone talking in the lobby or corridors. And then bright lights came through the door cracks around the door. No wardrobe, so drawers to empty your suitcase. No safe for your passport. No hair dryer unless you asked for it.

“Good value-for-money budget hotel in a prime location”
+Good value-for-money budget hotel in a prime location. The reception was pleasant and helpful. The rooms/ en suites were clean and tidy. Honestly, far from the plushest hotel I have stayed in, but if you just need a clean room with a comfortable bed, decent wash facilities in an excellent location, this is for you. Also made friends with the cleaning lady (from the Dominican Republic). She was a ray of sunshine and incredibly helpful. Finally, the stairs - if you know the history of Amsterdam, you will appreciate why there are many narrow houses with steep and tight staircases. Hotel Pagi is a fine example of this.

“Awful”
+Nothing.
−The room pictures are so deceiving. The room was very small with almost no space to move and worst was the bed. They made a double bed joining two single beds which kept shifting and the mattresses were also of poor quality. Nobody could get a good nights sleep on those beds. The stairs are small to and difficult to carry big bags on them
